I love your projects (remember the Heron). Thanksgiving has evolved for us as family has changed. My brother and his wife have taken over hosting it. My sister and I did it for a few years after my mom died. Everyone brings whatever they want. We had enough food left to feed 20 more people.Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10767030382042745357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3507113532980218501.post-41735328169396656922015-11-28T12:07:08.714-05:002015-11-28T12:07:08.714-05:00Thanksgiving is not celebrated in UK and France, s...Thanksgiving is not celebrated in UK and France, so will have to wait for Christmas to eat our turkey :) Hope you had a lovely family time.Mii Stitchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00208947393068786371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3507113532980218501.post-68015734944417334162015-11-27T07:15:41.019-05:002015-11-27T07:15:41.019-05:00Hi Katie, your Christmas Pals Ornaments are so cut...Hi Katie, your Christmas Pals Ornaments are so cute! But we have tons of festivals throughout the year and that too we have many religions so the celebrations further gets multiplied with friends. We usually exchange special dishes with neighbors and I send large portion of sweet/snacks to my husbands office for his team, so that I don't end up with extra kilos. Other than that frankly speaking, such holidays are more tiring- cleaning, cooking and eating more. I thank after the celebration that its over :) A holiday for me is a home-stay Sunday when my husband takes care of everything and I get a full-freedom day. It doesn't happen always though. I hope I have answered what you asked for, I am confused :)
My daughter loves green olives very much, so we have to keep a jar full of those.Preetihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14719450107640709790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3507113532980218501.post-27037761752197722042015-11-25T16:21:56.652-05:002015-11-25T16:21:56.652-05:00I'm thankful to eat like a pig lol actually th...I'm thankful to eat like a pig lol actually this year it's that I'm with family for a hold at after 6 years of not being able to. After I was married, we always made the trip to NJ to see the in-laws, which became more important as the kids (cousins) all grew older. Now the oldest daughter (the only one in town) is doing the turkey so she can include us and her in-laws. As time goes on, the traditions change somewhat but behind it all is still family.

Jackiejhmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04303312317141412783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3507113532980218501.post-57327870625870151982015-11-25T11:52:06.874-05:002015-11-25T11:52:06.874-05:00It's lovely to read about different traditions...It's lovely to read about different traditions in peoples homes, across the pond I will think of you and be thankful I was introduced to your blog.Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13863899802782756191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3507113532980218501.post-43718795660360565692015-11-25T10:10:34.810-05:002015-11-25T10:10:34.810-05:00Nice post.
