2nd Day on Blackwork Dragon

Yesterday was the 2nd day of working on Blackwork Dragon one of my CJC starts. I started him on Day 7. He goes so fast. I'm definitely keeping him out for now. Here is where I got...
I'm working him on a random piece of fabric I had in my stash and with a thread that was in a grab bag exchange. The thread is a Victorian Motto Sampler Shoppe Hand Dyed Floss called Violet Mist. Let's see where I will get today.

Great progress but I'm sorry to say you've left me unsatisfied and wanting more i.e. to see his face completed. I hope you're going to stitch that next! The fabric and thread work so well together, especially considering they were just random things you had! Imagine if we could all have such lovely things in our "random" box!!! :)
