DUCJC Day 6

Today was another PALs piece. My mom bought it for me while we were at the PALs retreat in 2015. I got it with my Christmas goodies. Here is what it will look like when finished and put together...
The designer is Noteworthy Needle. She was setup as a vendor at the retreat and was so sweet and nice. I really enjoyed talking with her. She made this and something else coming up in my DUCJC for the exclusive retreat pieces. Here is what I got done today...
There is a wave type stitch and then a border around the Having a Ball part to keep it from fraying when I cut it out. Can't wait to get it all put together.

That's different but so nice that it's a reminder of a retreat. Hopefully it won't be too long before you assemble it. :)

Cool design :). Is it the top removeable? Of so you could use the top as a pinkeep and the bottom to hold needles or orts :). Great start!

A lovely memory piece of the Pal's retreat. And you are almost done stitching it. It will be interesting to put it all together.

Another great start! Hope it's not too fiddly to make up when the stitching is done!

What an unusual finish - what is it? A little pot with a pincushion top? It's a lovely memento of your retreat anyway. I like buying things from nice people - happy memories all round!
