Gifted Gorgeousness

According to my calendar today is a Gifted Gorgeousness check in. My focus project is a gift to my Grandpa. It's our family crest. Here is what it will look like when finished...
Here is where I was for the last GG post...
Here is where I am today...
I feel like this one is going very slow. So I'm so glad to see the progress proof here. Now if it could just pick up a little bit but not any time soon unfortunately...

I've been so busy I'm pretty sure I forgot which way was up and down anymore. I'm way behind on blog reading. I just logged on to the GG post by Serendipitous Stitching and noticed I won a giveaway she hosted. Wonder what wonderful goodies she will send?!

Like I said life has been busy. We had a wonderful camping trip over Labor Day. Jeremiah even was able to attend. He developed an eye infection about a month ago that his eye doctor gave him eye drops for. But luckily it didn't stop him from having fun. We just finally got the all clear from the doc this week. So frustrating for him to have to go through yet another health issue. This one was manageable at least just annoying. We are off this weekend on our last camping trip of the year. Then we leave in two weeks for another vacation. This time will be to the East coast. Including the PALs Retreat in Myrtle Beach. Can't wait! But as every year I've put off doing the exchange pieces so I'm madly working on them right now. I have 1 finished and 2 to go. Hurry hurry stitches get in that fabric!! Sorry about all the rambling guess that what I get for not posting sooner. I'll see you tomorrow for a WIPocalypse post.

It's progress and that's the important thing, especially when you have other things on your plate. Have a good camping weekend and enjoy PALS to the max!

Glad to hear Jeremiah is feeling better.

Thanks for taking part in GG this month. The crest is looking amazing, the regular photos are great for showing progress.
Glad Jeremiah was able to enjoy the trip despite his eye infection.
Hopefully you'll be showing us all the exchange gifts for next month's GG along with a nice review of the trip?
