Monday Update

After a busy Thanksgiving Day I had a very relaxing weekend. Hubby and I sat on our butts and watched lots and lots of hours of DVR shows. Fell in love with USA's White Collar. What a cute show. I also got lots of stitching time. I finished page 4 of my HAED Pirate Dragon. This means I have 25,730 stitches in now. I'm 54% finished finally. I got a few rows of Page 5 started already too. This pattern has a total of 9 pages. Page 5 is full which means 7,600 more stitches. But the last 4 are smaller pages. I'm going to start working on a Christmas Mill Hill kit though tonite. I opened the kit and got it all sorted out last night. I have a winter themed one but somehow it's gone missing in my house. I hope it comes out of hiding before too long. I hope everyone had a Thankful Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving Finish

I finally finished this Mill Hill kit. It's called Be Thankful and the number is MH14-7202 in case you need to know. I bought the frame at a LNS. I love the painted pumpkins on the top. I just love doing these kits but for some reason they really take me a long time to finish them. So I was working hard to finish it before Thanksgiving. Now it's proudly on display for the holiday. I have few Christmas ones. But I'm going to take a break haha.

So far we have been sick free (knock on wood). Just dealing with this stupid itch. I was told it was Hives but I just don't know. Other than that life is pretty good. Having Thanksgiving lunch here so the next week will be filled with deep cleaning and getting everything ready. I hope everyone has a happy thanksgiving.

Shopping Trip

I was lucky enough to shop at House of Stitches. So I thought I would post my experience for all to enjoy LOL. I found the 2009 Ornament Issue finally. So I grabbed me a copy. There are alot of pretty ornaments this year.
