Special Day

Today is a very special day in this house. It's my son's 14th birthday! Let's have a look back...

My little guy was born 2 months premature. He weighed 4 pounds 9 ounces. He came into my life when I had no idea how much I needed him. He was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. He stayed in the NICU for the first 3 weeks of his life. Starting from the first day he was always happy. The other babies in the NICU would cry and our Jeremiah was just happy to be alive.

He's my little rock star. Even though he has cerebral palsy he doesn't let it get him down. He just pushes through. I wish the world could learn that lesson from him. He's happy no matter what. He tells me he knows it could be worse.

My little man I love you so much. You are everything to me and I love every day of the past 14 years you have brought to my life. Thank you and I can only hope to give you half as much as you have given me.
