Embers Update

I finished the 1st page of 6 on Embers. I just LOVE this fabric and design. Only problem is when I work with one thread color I get bored quickly. So I'm moving to another project for a little bit. She will be back soon though.

We finally got our new tent in the mail. We decided to wait and purchase one we really liked rather than rush into it. So yesterday it arrived. Which is a really good thing cause we have our big camping trip next week. Now just cross our fingers for no big storms while we are gone camping haha.

Well you did pick a fantastic colour even if you have to switch between projects to stay interested!

I had fallen behind in reading blogs. You have been so busy! I love Embers! Your project is lovely. DMC 550 is perfect for that beautiful background fabric! You made it to the rocks on Selkie! WhooHoo! That is fantastic. And Hope is looking absolutely adorable! I hope you have a wonderful time in your new tent!

I have that same problem with only one color designs. They can only hold my attention for so long. Nice progress though!

Great progress on Embers! I tend to adjust monochrome designs to several colours, maybe for that same reason, to keep from getting bored.

That's the same reason I can't stitch too long with one color. Or even pieces without much confetti. It looks great so far!

Embers is looking beautiful. I really like monochrome patterns - you just sit and follow the chart without worrying if you've got the right floss for the symbol.

Embers is looking fabulous! I like stitching with one colour, it goes so much quicker.
I always tell my husband I will go camping the day they put fitted kitchens and bathrooms in tents. Definitely not for me! Yours looks nice and big.

Fantastic progress!! I don't mind using one colour, I find I am quicker :)
What put me off with camping are all the creepy crawlies (yes, I'm a real chicken! Can't even enjoy a picnic without it ended up with me back in the car with all windows & doors shut) and having to use the communal toilets/showers.... :) Think I'd rather avoid this but your new tent really look big. I hope the weather behave for your trip next week!

Thanks! Yeah that would work. LOL I would probably still get bored haha.

Thank you. I'll have to remember to get some pictures of the inside of our setup. We are always very comfy.
