DUCJC Day 13

Today's pick is a patriotic design. Jeremiah loves patriotic things so this will be perfect for his school room when it's finished. Here is what it will look like...
Free To Be Me by Val's Stuff. Here is my navy start...
I had this piece of fabric in my stash that it fit perfect on. A beautiful sky kind of color. Tomorrow I'm back to another beachy piece from PALs.

That's another sweet little design, and on lovely fabric.
In a way I envy your patriotism. Us Brits don't seem to have one. I can't think of any designs with the Union Flag that would say something like "proud to be British". And even if those designs existed I'm not sure anyone would stitch them!! Humbug!

What a gorgeous design. I agree with Rachel. Being patriotic in the UK is sometimes confused with being racist and it's a shame.
I have a Union Jack needlepoint cushion kit in my stash somewhere!

That's another lovely design, Katie. I love the yellow string that goes around the whole design.

Lovely design. The UK ladies who have commented are right we don't 'do' patriotism in such style, that is why I enjoy seeing the pyriad of USA patriotic designs.

Lovely start. It'll be a great addition to the school room. I agree with the U.K. Ladies too, although I do remember a couple of the U.K. mags running 'British' themed designs around the jubilee and Olympics times
