DUCJC Day 6

Today was another PALs piece. My mom bought it for me while we were at the PALs retreat in 2015. I got it with my Christmas goodies. Here is what it will look like when finished and put together...
The designer is Noteworthy Needle. She was setup as a vendor at the retreat and was so sweet and nice. I really enjoyed talking with her. She made this and something else coming up in my DUCJC for the exclusive retreat pieces. Here is what I got done today...
There is a wave type stitch and then a border around the Having a Ball part to keep it from fraying when I cut it out. Can't wait to get it all put together.

  1. That's different but so nice that it's a reminder of a retreat. Hopefully it won't be too long before you assemble it. :)

  2. Cool design :). Is it the top removeable? Of so you could use the top as a pinkeep and the bottom to hold needles or orts :). Great start!

  4. A lovely memory piece of the Pal's retreat. And you are almost done stitching it. It will be interesting to put it all together.

  7. What an unusual finish - what is it? A little pot with a pincushion top? It's a lovely memento of your retreat anyway. I like buying things from nice people - happy memories all round!
