This is the 3rd weekend of the month which means it's International Hermit Stitch Weekend (IHSW). It's time to settle down and get some major stitching done. Tell your chores they can wait till Monday. Let's stitch!! I'm going to blame IHSW for a perfect excuse for a new start. We all know I need another WIP haha. Here she is all ready to start...
The sweet Heather was kind enough to host a giveaway for a Tilton Craft pattern. They are a lot like HAED so I figured I would enjoy them. I saw this pattern and just fell in love. Look at all those beautiful blues and purples. The fabric is a 32ct sage. We have just a few things to do tomorrow but other than that I should be able to stitch away.
Also I wanted to remind everyone I'm hosting a giveaway. The chart is a fun wordplay snowman. Go here to sign up please. I will announce the winner Monday. There are only 9 people participating so your chances are pretty high.
I have another WIP update on Dragon Skies before she goes away...
I ended with 5,126 stitches in. All white and Kreinik. I gotta admit I'm looking forward to color today haha. Enjoy your weekend!

I know this is probably a bit sad but I love those bobbin boxes with all the newly wound bobbins (just for one project) all sitting there ready to go!
Enjoy your new start!
Nice progress and love your new start Katie.

I've never done either a HAED or a Tilton but I do admire them very much.

Enjoy your new start and hope you are having a great time with IHSW:)
Hello Katie,
I can't wait to see those colors on your new start. Great work on Dragon Skies. I'm participating this weekend with IHSW. I will be working on the Nora Corbett Mystery.
Haha, don't we all need a new start from time to time? Well, need isn't the right word, I guess, lol. But I love the look of a completely pristine piece of fabric and all the floss colours gathered next to it. Like on your picture.
A wonderful project, Katie, and you made a great start on it.
At the time of writing this IHSW will be over so I'll look forward to seeing your progress on your beautiful new chart. I like looking at boxes of threads all ready to go too! :)
Great new chart, what a lovely choice!
Yes, those colours look lovely.
Can't wait to see it coming along. Have fun :)
I love how you included a picture of the threads you'll use, such a lovely array, all those blues are so cool to the eyes. Have fun stitching:)
