Home Sweet Home

We arrived home safe and sound yesterday. It was so great to see Jeremiah, Mom, and Izzy. They were all 3 happy to see us. It feels great to be home. I missed my pillow and my couch haha. I have received so many wonderful comments. I just don't have time to reply to each one. So I will just say Thank you extremely for all the comments. We had such a fantastic anniversary getaway and we both feel so reconnected and can't wait to get back into our normal routine. The pile of laundry as always after a vacation is HUGE but I will get it done just need the time. I can't wait to pick up my needle and stitch again. Another reason I don't want to reply to each email.

I have a new project to tell you guys about. My grandpa has been doing research on our family history and found our family crest. He ordered the crest as a cross stitch pattern for me to stitch. What an honor. Here is what our crest looks like...
So I pulled all the threads so I can get started on it. It's 80x50 estimated. A lot of color changes but all I care about is that Grandpa likes it when finished. My calendar is still very full in the next few months so I have a lot to look forward to. Must find time to stitch though.

It's always great to travel, but it's also good to be back home again, isn't it?
Such a lovely idea from your grandfather to have the family crest turned into a cross stitch pattern for you to stitch. Have fun stitching it.
