1st Finish of 2017

January Snapshot from Pine Mountain Designs
Stitched on 32ct Lambswool Evenweave
Threads are Suggested DMC
Started Jan 5th. Took me 4 Days.

I'm happy to report my 1st finish of the new year. I really enjoyed working on this one and sure hope the rest of the series is the same. I just love the way it looks like old photographs in an album.

We've been enjoying a lazy weekend. Watching a lot of TV shows off our poor DVR. It sure gets abused. It's one of those things we just can't imagine life without. How nice to be able to hit a few buttons and record our shows rather than using the old VCR tapes. Plus we can fast forward through the commercials and save a lot of time haha. Yesterday we binged a whole season of a show. It's nice then you don't have to wait a whole week to see what's going to happen next haha. It's been cold but boy we sure missed that snow storm that the Carolina's got. I love OBX and even they had snow! Never seen the beach during a snow storm. Guess I need to add that to my bucket list haha. This week our weather looks like it's going to be up and down with rain, snow, ice. Fun fun. I haven't decided what I'll be working on for the week yet. I know the Family Crest has to come back out sometime. We'll just have to wait and see what jumps onto my Q-snaps.

Yay for the first finish! I like the snapshot look as well and your fabric helps the old fashioned look.

That's really pretty! I love the vintage look. Stay safe in the wild weather, I suggest more catch-up TV and definitely more stitching!

Wow, Katie!! You've certainly been busy with your needles :) I can't believe you've already finished this little cutie. It looks lovely, well done!

That's a really cute finish... no doubt the other eleven will be just as cute! We probably got 8 inches, give or take. It's frozen solid, and temps are not going above freezing today, so a long, slow process to get moving around!Brrrr...

For some reason, this is a better picture than the one on instagram - it's so adorable!
