It's Monday and I like to do a Monday Update post. So let's see what progress I made last week.
The first part of the week I spent on the Family Crest. I'll share the progress for the 15th GG post since it's just more rows of stitching really haha. Thursday was the 2nd which meant it was time for a new piece of the Under the Sea SAL to be released. We've been having so much fun guessing what might be next. The 2nd piece was an adorable shark and I just couldn't wait to stitch him so I got started on him right away Thursday. I got him finished on Friday...
I just LOVE how they took together. Wonder what cutie will be next?!?
Over the weekend I worked on the February Snapshot. Here is what it will look like...
Here is my progress on it...
I didn't get a lot of stitching time this weekend. Saturday Jeremiah, Fred and me went to see the latest Star Wars movie Rogue One. It was really good. My two Star Wars nerds were happy haha. We needed to get caught up on all things Star Wars for our upcoming trip to Disney. Sunday Mom and me went out to get her a new Samsung tablet. Her old one finally gave up working. Then we got home and watched the movie Deepwater Horizon. It was too good to look away and stitch during. I had decided not to watch the Superbowl this year and thought I would get a lot of stitching time in the evening but just didn't work out of course.
So the Snapshot will stay out till I finish it up. I hope everyone has a great week ahead! I have things on my to do list but hopefully stitching will sneak in too of course.

The under the sea SAL looks fab, I can't believe how quickly you stitched it. The snapshot is looking great so far too
Your SAL piece is adorable Katie. Great start on the snapshot.
Linda
The SAL piece is looking very cute:)
I love the SAL piece! You're right, they look really good stitched together.
Glad to hear you are all on the mend and getting out and about again!
Oh my, Under the sea SAL is just fabulous!!! Look at that cute shark (seems weird to type those two words together) & adorable fish. So wish I had time to join this SAL. I'll keep on drooling over your stitching every month instead. Great start on the Feb snapshot too. Glad you're all feeling better. We thoroughly enjoyed watching Rogue One too. Special effects & story blending were fantastic!
I absolutely love your Under The Sea SAL
Katie, the last thing I need is another project. These are both sooooo cute and sweet that the temptation is almost winning. I look forward to seeing more of your progress! We have Star Wars nerds here too. :) Disneyland sounds fun!
Such bright colours that compliment each other the designer has chosen for the SAL. He looks a nice friendly shark!
I love that shark! Can't wait to see more of this SAL.
The shark looks like he's laughing at the octopus. I wonder what the joke was? February's Snapshot is looking good.
My shark was a two day stitch too, such fun, and they look great together. What's going to be next I wonder?
It is a wonderful SAL from under the sea. Your's looks great. Looking forward to your Trip. You always share the best vacation photos.
So far behind with reading and commenting! I missed an awesome giveaway too. All my own fault. Anyway, belated congratulations on your 1000th post! I am most impressed. If I keep going at the same rate it will be at least three years until I reach that landmark.
The Durene Jones is so you, I can see why you had to stitch that one. I also love the start of the new snapshot, it's a great little series.
I love them both!
This Under the Sea SAL is quite simply gorgeous. The first two motifs looks so lovely and I'm very curious to see more of it.
Ooo lovely progress!
