Monday Update

Since the FFG post was yesterday I really already shared what I did last week stitching wise. 3 finishes. Definitely a good week in my book. We started to unwinter the house but it's not finished yet. Tuesday I was walking out of my living room and I ran 3 of my little toes right into my door. The toe right beside my pinkie toe looked HORRIBLE. It turned purple and was so swollen. It wasn't broken at least. But I did a good job. Mom was picking on me for just trying to get out of work haha. It's finally back to mostly normal. Still has some purple to it. At least purple is my favorite color right? It definitely hurt when I was doing a lot so the work slowed down quite a bit.

Saturday we went out to a delicious meal for hubby's birthday. It's a hibachi place where they make the food on the table in front of you. It's always a good show and excellent food.

Sunday after the FFG post I pulled out Ocean in a Bottle again. I finished the stitching on the 3rd page...
I'll work on the backstitching and then head on to the last page. I'll stick with it and hopefully be celebrating a big finish soon with you guys.

I hope everyone has a great week. Don't run into any doors haha. Maybe I'm the one that needs that reminder.

Oh my gosh! I hope your toes are doing better by now! I wrapped my toes around a loveseat once and broke two toes and some bones in the top of my foot...so I feel your pain!

I'm cheering wildly for your finish on ship in a bottle!! I almost purchased that pattern the other day, but thought I would hold off until I had two finishes first....now that I think about it, maybe I should just buy it now? Thoughts?

My you moved right along on this piece and are so close to a finish on it already. Hope your toe is better, that must have hurt a lot.

Happy Birthday Fred!!

Fingers and toes are the worst things to break. I’m glad it wasn’t actually broken, but still, painful!

The hibachi style restaurants are great, and the food is so good.
Sorry to hear about your go with the door - ouch! (Sounds like something I'd do)

Ouch! Did you damage the door? That's what my Dad always says! Glad you enjoyed the meal out.
Nice work on your bottle. Stay off the hard stuff and stick to stitching bottles LOL
