#24HOCS December Goals Recap and January Goals

December was a bust. I only worked on 3 things from my acrostic list at all. But all 3 of those were completely finished. The Nautical Year December, Lizzie Kate December, and the Snowflake SAL. So I'm pretty happy with that considering it was Christmas rush and we were BUSY BUSY. So let's just move on.

January is a new start and a new acrostic. I've been looking at it and looking at it and keep coming up with several blanks. I might fill it in later. My main goal for January is to stitch every day in January. I'm really hoping to stick to that. At least 24 minutes a day. That's a new goal for me. I have plugged in a few letters though. So let's see those...

R -

E -

A -

D - Beer Dragon
Connection: D in Dragon
Goal: At least 200 Stitches

Y - 99 Bottles
Connection: Yeast
Goal: 4 Bottles a month to complete project by end of year

S - Winter Time - New York Dreamer
Connection: Seasonal
Goal: 4 Hours

E - Merry Noel - Hinzeit
Connection: Easy
Goal: Finish?

T -

X -

S - Boba Fett
Connection: Star Wars
Goal: At least 4 Hours

! - Jan Fairy - Lili of the Valley Calendar
Connection: Excited to Start!
Goal: Finish

I might plug in more as I go. These are the main focus for the month. Plus each month I need to FFO the fairy and I'm hoping to push myself to finish at least 1 Box of Shame piece each month too. I have to get out my sewing machine to finish the fairies this year. So why not finish something else too? I can do it right? I think I can.

So you can see my main January goals:
Stitch Every Day
Finish the January Fairy and FFO
1 other piece from my Box of Shame
4 Bottles on 99 to make sure to finish it this year. 48 bottles left 4 a month for 12 months.

Those are some great goals, Katie! I've just about got mine narrowed down for 2020, and I'll probably share next week. I can't wait to see update pictures on your blog. Happy New Year! -Andrea

Great ideas, and congrats on 3 finishes in December, plus fully finishing too, that's awesome!

I love that your idea of a bust is three finishes! I love your acrostic; if you make the T stand for travel could you do anything you've gotten on a trip? I'm rooting for you to whittle down your box of shame!

Great plans, especially the one to stitch every day!
I am sure you can shoehorn your stitching into the missing letters later on in the month.

Good luck with the stitching plans, especially stitching every single day of the year.
