Monday Update

Last week was a pretty busy week. Monday I posted 5 blog posts and annoyed everyone haha. No stitching. Tuesday we went to Costco and did a stock up trip. Then I started the process of catching up on emails and blog reading. Again no stitching. I hate when I get so far behind. Took me forever. Wednesday I finally finished the Homely Houseplants SAL while doing laundry. Thursday we went to get groceries and it was my hubby's birthday so we went out to eat a delicious dinner together. No stitching again. I'm stopped in and shared my finish on the Homely Houseplants SAL on Friday. Then I got started on my first class project...
January 8th she posted this photo to her Instagram so I assume it's okay to share. I'm not going to share my in progress photos though because I haven't heard if that's okay or not.

This piece has 9 small pieces for me to stitch before the retreat which starts March 26th.

Saturday I took another day off. We had a funeral to attend of a family friend. Then we hung out at the campground for a little bit with Dad and Bev. On the way home we stopped at got new cell phones. Our old phones just didn't want to work any longer. We had Samsung J7 and we upgraded to Samsung A50's. They work SOOOO much better. What a pain to get everything set up again though.

Sunday I was supposed to attend my local stitching group. I honestly just didn't want to get dressed and go out. So I sent a message I was just staying home. I didn't change out of my PJ's. Just sat on my bum and stitched the day away. Just what I needed. I finished the 1st and 2nd part. Also got a good start on the 3rd. Part 1 took 2 hours 14 minutes. Part 2 took 2 hours and 42 minutes. I have 1 hour and 40 minutes so far into the 3rd part so hopefully it will be finished up soon. After I finish these 9 pieces I have the 2nd class piece to do which has 8 parts.

I really want it to go fast so of course it's going slow haha. I want to stitch on my other March pieces. That motivation is still in over drive and I want to stitch it ALL!! haha.

Hope everyone has a great week. I've been checking things off my list like crazy today all ready. Hope that means stitching time after I get finished my computer things. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Oh, what I would give to have a PJ day! When the children were young the three of us used to have the occasional lazy Sunday where we stayed in PJs all day, but hubby didn't approve then and certainly wouldn't now!
Good luck with finding time to stitch yourself crazy before your retreat. Along with all of preparation I hope you get to stitch on at least some of your March plans too. :)

Yay for pajama days - I just had two of them, but that was because I was sick with a cold! But at least I got some stitching in so all was not lost.
I'm looking forward to seeing this piece when you're done, such a sweet one.

That project looks intriguing from just the one picture. Happy belated birthday to your husband. I'm having a sort of PJ day today and catching up on blogs and stitching - sometimes it's needed! Hope you have had a less busy week this week x
