Another week went flying by. Let's see what I've been working on.
Tuesday Patriotic Gnome Littles by Waxing Moon was my last Springo call that I needed to do 100 on. So I added those stitches...
Then I worked on Birds SAL but I'll discuss it in a little bit...Wednesday was time for two more weeks on Peppermint Purple SAL. Weeks 17 and 18 now...
Thursday was May 1st. My mom's birthday. So perfect time for a new start in her honor....
Spirits of the Watchtower by Glendon Place. I saw this one on a Stoney Creek Friday Flash email and just had to have it. Lighthouse for mom and Spooky for me. Perfect. I also ordered the Sullivan thread set and specialty pack. Love it so much. The fabric is 28ct Raven Linen from Cross Winged Collection. Here is the 348 I added for day 1. Started at the bottom left for this one...So the Birds SAL from Lola Crow has definitely been my focus piece. Trying to finish that frame before the new release May 16th. Here I am now...
I added 1,447 into it this week! Finally see the bottom. I have a total of 4,166 now. Slowly but surely.
I attended a new retreat this weekend. It was hosted by Always in Stitches in Noblesville but they had it in Shipshewana and we love that area so I was glad to hear a friend's sister wasn't attended and had an extra ticket to sell. Fred took Friday off and we headed up.
It was a wonderful time. I ended up getting 939 stitches added at retreat. I got to know 4 ladies a lot more which was fantastic. Plus see some ladies I hadn't seen in way too long. So it was a wonderful weekend overall. I will definitely attend more if it works out. Okay well I'm off to stitch. So many fun My Way May plans. Love yourself. Smile as often as possible. See ya next week.
