Last Post of 2013

Wow 2013 is over after today. It's been a hard year. We lost 3 family members this year. My group of friends had a blow up and I don't know if it will ever be the same again. But it's been a great year too. We drove to California and did a trip full of wonderful memories. Hubby took me to Myrtle Beach for the PALs retreat and we had an absolutely wonderful time together. We've grown even closer together and are even more in love.

Jeremiah has been great yet again. Can't believe he is 15 and going to be 16 in April!!! We are hoping to go to Disney to make it extra special for him. He makes me smile at the person he is becoming. He is such a wonderful caring happy kid. I'm so thankful for him everyday. We made our own curriculum for school this year and it's going fantastic. We love doing the work everyday we do school and actually look forward to what we might be doing next. Jeremiah is doing so much better at Math and really getting the concepts we are learning.

I got a lot of stitching done. I've setup my blog for next years stitching goals. I've also done better trying to keep up and not procrastinate chores. I still have room to grow of course. I put off sweeping that's for sure. But I'm trying. Our vehicles made it through the year. Hope they can hold on another year but we know the end is coming. We didn't camp as much as we normally do cause we were busy doing this and that but we still had a lot of fun. We are already looking forward to our 2014 camping trips.

I think in 2014 I'm going to try to keep up my blog more and include some more personal things. I love looking back and seeing what's been going on. I'm not really big into setting resolutions but there is still some things I would love to try to do. I need to get my health better. I say that every year but I'm trying to understand I need to be serious about it. I want to smile every day and be thankful for what I have. I have to remember our motto of No matter how bad it is....it could always be worse. Life is what we make of it and I want to be happy and smile every chance I get.

If I bore you just skip my long posts haha. If you hang in there with me Thank you. I write this for me and can't believe how many people read along. It's fun to think of how we might not have met in real life and yet we seem like close friends. The internet has sure changed how the world works.

To finish this long post I thought I would include some of my favorite things I received for Christmas. It was really really hard to pick just a few of my favorites...
The largest lego kit I've ever done. It had more than 2,000 pieces.
My step mom made this adorable snowman.
Jeremiah got me this awesome coaster. I love dragons!
Even though Fred got this game I really enjoyed playing it.
Mom got me this too cool turtle. We want to make these and have been
buying the parts at garage sales.
Jeremiah got me this beautiful fairy. Mom got me this too cute sea lion.
Mom bought this awesome seahorse at Venice Beach, CA.
It's made from pop cans. The hippie that made it really loved it man haha.
I got a new frame to hold my stitching pieces that have beads in it.
Can't wait to try it out.
I got last year's blog all printed out. So I have all the years printed since
I started blogging in 2007. The 2012 was the largest. Can't wait to get this years printed out too.
Fred got me Walking Dead and American Horror Story last seasons.
I can add them to my collection. I also got the Heat.
Jeremiah got me a calendar for 2014 and picked out Walking Dead. Love it!!!
I had to LOL at this one. Mom reminded us about how tablets and how
they would have been a Christmas present but we got them in July.
Love my new tablet though haha.

I got so many other wonderful things. These are just the things that jumped in my mind for today's post. I made sure to scream at everything else Sorry if I missed you so they didn't feel left out haha. Well I hope you had a fantastic 2013. Have a safe New Years and I look forward to seeing what 2014 has in store for all of us. Smile and Love Life!

I so enjoyed reading your last blog of 2013... and agree with your sentiments.

Your Christmas gifts are wonderful. Do you print your blogs yourself? Or, do you use a service? I'd like to do that...

That's ironic that you would post that r2d2, as I have decided to take up Lego building this year! I want to do all the ones in the Architecture series!!! We will see what happens!!
