This weekend is IHSW time again. What's that you say? A fun reason to stitch and then blog about it. It stands for International Hermit Stitch Weekend. It happens on the 3rd full weekend of the month. So much fun to know that there are so many people all over the world stitching the same time. I have a few things to do but when I'm not busy I will be stitching away.
I'm going to start something new for the IHSW. # 8 on my Turtle Trot list is the Seasonal Fairies by Joan Elliott. Since Spring started today I'll start her. I ran to the store today to get the few threads I didn't have on hand. So she's ready to come out tomorrow and see the world. I'll get to use my new frame I got for Christmas since she has beads in her. Then I can bead as I go along. Here is a picture of what it will look like finished...
Are you going to be joining in? What will you be working on this weekend?

I think Spring Fairy is my favorite in the series. I've stitched Autumn and Summer and am plugging away on Winter right now. I was hoping to be ready to start Spring by now but best laid plans and all that!
I can't wait to see your progress on her. Maybe it will motivate me to finish Winter!
This is on my to do list. Really looking forward to seeing how you get on with it. Have a great IHSW.
