Day 10 was the 17th. This is the catch up post.
For IHSW I decided to work on Ghoul School. Here is where I was at the beginning of the day Friday...

Friday was another wonderful day at the PALs retreat. Friday night we did the grab bag exchange. I always look forward to this fun exchange. You put together a container with $25 worth of stitching and any other goodies you choose to throw in. I had so much fun putting together the one I gave. My mom found a wine themed box and I filled it with all kinds of goodies. We found some cute wine themed items to throw in too. The lady who received it was very happy. This is a picture of the box I loaded up on the table with a few of the other boxes...

I just loved the outside box. The goodies I received weren't exactly what I hoped stitching wise but it's fine. It is what it is and I had fun participating anyway...
The ladies husband hand made the wooden items. The flip flops with the holes are for holding threads. Very cute. The little wooden box was really soft. Then the one is for your thread leftovers and the other thing is a needle holder. The only stitching items was the one piece of fabric but she was new and probably didn't understand the rules of the exchange. I love the wooden items though. It was a long fun stitching chatting filled day.

That particular exchange takes hours sometimes! I laughed so much as one or two containers are 'stolen' back and forth! Glad you had fun participating!
