Christmas Pals Ornaments Day 3 and 4

I didn't take time to post an update this morning cause I wanted to get to stitching. Here is where I got yesterday...
So close. This is sure one of those designs that looks horrible until you backstitch and add the details. Anyway here he is now...
All finished!!
I decided to add beads instead of french knots. I just love how they look. So 1 of the 6 ornaments are finished. I'm going to finish them into little pillow type ornaments I think. Oh they would make cute little cubes too. Until then they will go into the bin of shame haha.

Oh yes, I agree, he looked awful without the beads and backstitching - not!!
Congratulations on another finish. He is so cute. You have now got plenty of time to make him into an ornament before Christmas. No pressure for once!

I use beads also. Hate knots!

So cute and adorable !! :) Beads are always better than french knots. Sometimes my french knots turn out double the size of beads ..ha..ha

Looks so splendid! Great idea on the beads. (will copy that too hahaha since I'm not good at French knots!) The beads add shine/glitter, more Christmassy:)

Thank you! Mine is a drawer too haha.

Thank you very much. They are such a pain. I swear I could do 100 and only 2 would turn out looking the way I'm happy with haha. So beads look a lot better haha.

Thank you very much. No problem at all I probably copied it from somewhere haha. I love beads added to projects.

I have a roll of shame! It's a project roll from DMC which is stuffed to the gills with unfinished finishes. Too sad. I was thinking of having a finishing SAL but then realised I would have to join in and finish some of mine. Your snowman is super cute and deserves to get a finish!

Nooo not the bin of shame (hiding her own la la laaa)! I like making French Knots (weirdo :D) but I like the look of beads too! I love how the little snowflakes turned out~
