HAP SAL

It's a new month. Today is HAP SAL check in. We show our progress on our Huge @$$ Project at the beginning of every month. This is the largest HAED I've ever done called Selkie. Her picture is on the right hand bar if you would like to see what she will look like. I can't wait to get to something other than blue haha. But she is really fun and relaxing to work on.

Here is where I was beginning of April...
Here she is now...
This is 21 days of work on her. 9,560 stitches total so far. Instead of going to the official page 2 I went down to page 7 instead. From the looks of it another blue page.

It's beautiful! When you get onto Selkie herself and the inevitable confetti you'll be wishing you were still stitching gorgeous blues.
Great progress.

Great progress! I do not think I could have your patience though with all those blues, but reading Justine's comment it will get even worse ...haha! Have I said how much I admire HEAD-stitchers?!

Blue hell. Ah yes, I've been there! But it's so worth it in the end! So, so worth it!

Thank you. Yes you have to love confetti stitching to enjoy HAEDs. Ever since my first HAED stitch though I've been in love.

Hello and Welcome to my blog. I had a pop over to your blog and see you are a fellow HAED addict. You are working on beautiful pieces too. I'll stick around to watch your progress. Yes you definitely know about how worth it the end result makes it.

At least they are different shades of blue!
For me, background is why they invented hand dyed fabrics LOL. I like to dive into the details of the design first.

Beautiful! My hat is off to you, I fear I would lose motivation with so much sky in a chart. It is lovely though!
