IHSW spent on Selkie

I spent my IHSW (International Hermit Stitch Weekend) on HAED Selkie. I admit to cheating and starting Thursday afternoon after I finished the Spring WordPlay but I just couldn't wait any longer haha. So with Thursday through yesterday I got in 2,180 stitches!!  I now have a total of 14,660 in.

For a reminder I'm using 32ct evenweave 1 thread over 1 complete X. I started in the top left corner and went down to page 7 instead of over to page 2. I'm thisclose to finished with the 2nd page. The 3rd page looks like I will finally get to something other than blue haha.

I'm linking up to the Super Mom Stitchery Link Party. Stop on over to see what the ladies who check in have been up to.

Great progress!!:) I think in order to make IHSW work for me I will have to replace 'weekend' with 'weekdays' . That's a great idea, I get SMS from Pizza Hut - don't cook on Wednesdays, order pizza. I will turn that W into Wednesday :)

You've made amazing progress. And I imagine it will be really fun once you can start adding color and seeing the image take shape.

Thanks for much for linking up to this week's Stitchery Link Party and for linking back. Aloha hugs!

Which way are you going next - across or down? I think you should just keep stitching blue!

You are my hero stitching 1 over 1 on 32 ct. It's looking good and I can't wait to see more than sky.

Wow! That is amazing progress! So... I have over 15,000 stitches done on Santa and the Mouse. That puts your 14,000+ stitches in shades of blue into perspective for me. I fear I would have lost some motivation. You are impressive and my hat is off to you! (I think I would have worked top to bottom rather than left to right, too.) This is such a fun chart and your work is lovely!
