March WIPocalypse

Today is a full moon so that means it's time for a WIPocalypse update. I like to look at what I've been working on since the last update and see what progress I've made.

I love working on several different pieces as you can tell. So let's see What's Up...

Year of Whimsy -- 5 Days worked on. Last check in I was still working on Feb. Here is where I was...
I got it all finished up...
I also finished March...
Spring Bell Pull -- 2 Days worked on. Here is where I was...
Here is where I am now..
Seaside Squared -- 3 days to finish up. Here it is now finished...
So tiny! Love it!!
HAED Hope -- Worked on 3 Days. Here is where I was...
I got another 2 columns completed...
Christmas Treasures Set of 4 -- Worked on 4 days. Finished the first one...
This is a Jodyri Thread I received in a giveaway called Tulip Garden. Love how it turned out.
Inner Tube by Mill Hill - Worked on 1 day. Here is where I am now...
HAED Dragon Skies - 3 Days worked on. Totally forgot about this one. Here is what it will look like when finished and where I am now...
Then I had a new start....my first Tilton Crafts piece. Aquatic Maiden. I received it in a giveaway and worked on it 4 Days. Here is what it will look like and where I am now...

I have 2,800 stitches in now. She's on 32ct sage evenweave 1 thread over 1 complete x. I'm so in love with working on her I really don't want to put her down. But the Spring Bell Pull and Hope are calling loudly from the sidelines.

We are also asked questions for each check in. This month's question is March  23- Topic: Do you use hoops, stretcher bars, lap stands or Q snap frames and why? (via CathieJ)

I use Q-Snaps and can't imagine life without them. I love my fabric to be held really tight when I stitch. I tried a lap stand once but just didn't like the feeling of it so I just hold it in my hand. I also use Q-Snap covers. I just found a new source for them... https://www.etsy.com/shop/StormbornBoutique. I ordered two new ones this morning. I just love decorating my Q-Snaps haha. I think they deserve bling too.

Okay well I look forward to the next check in. Wonder what I will work on till then?!?

Love seeing the monthly round up. When you see the individual pieces you don't always realize just how much stitching there has been. Looking forward to seeing more of Hope, Dragon and Maiden.

Great progress this month! You really have been stitching up a storm. The little Seaside Squared is a favourite of mine but I will also enjoy seeing that dragon grow.

Wow you have been stitching a lot !! I have Q-snaps which I use for my dimensions project as the fabric with the kit is stiff. But I often find that even with Q-snaps the fabric starts loosening up frequently . Do you add any more fittings/inserts to keep the frame tight in place ?
