Monday Update / WIPocalypse

Wow what a fun weekend we had camping. We made so many wonderful new memories. Jeremiah had so much fun! It stormed most the night Thursday night but we stayed dry and safe inside our tent. Friday we got a few more rain drops but other than that the weather was beautiful! It was our first time using our family's new campground area and it went so far beyond my expectations! Just can't be thankful enough. We can't wait to have the chance to go there camping again.

Now I'm trying to recover. Saturday was also the WIPocalypse check in. So let's see what I've worked on since the last check in on March 23rd.
Spring Bell Pull -- 11 Days of Work. Here it was at the last check in...
Here it is now I really got hooked on this one...
HAED Hope -- 4 Days of work. Here she was before...
Here she is now...
Seas the Day -- I got finished up after 2 more days of work. It was a January New Start.
Year of Whimsy -- 3 Days to finish up the April Whimsy.
Halloween Mini's -- Put a day of work into the Pumpkin face I started in January. Not enough to share an update picture though.

Aquatic Maiden -- 1 Day of Work but it was at my stitching retreat so I got 1,000 more stitches added. Here is the before and after...

Beach Postcard -- 1 Day of work. Again not enough progress to share a picture though.

Beach Blessings -- 2 Days of work. After starting it in January. Here now with this one...
It's been another progress filled month for me. Now my life is getting busy though so I'm sure the next check in won't be as exciting to share. We are also given a fun question to answer with the WIPocalypse post...April  22 – Topic: What do you listen to while stitching? (via Jo) I listen/watch way too many TV shows that get recorded to my DVR. I look up every now and then but I know I listen to them more than I watch them haha. The next check in is May 21. See ya then.

You had a very productive month, complete with some finishes. YAY for you!

So glad you had a good camping trip. We camped a lot when I was a kid and I have the best memories of those times.

Great progress and a great finish. I do the same, stitching while I listen to TV.

Oh wow! amazing progress :o)
I tend to watch/listen to TV while I am stitching as well... I also try not to watch something that might get me too engrossed so that I don't stop stitching too long!
Sorry hear that the weather wasn't too kind while you were camping but sounds like it was still a fun time!
Hugs xx

So much progress for the month when you put it all together like that, and some finishes too. You HAVE to keep Hope out now - Rachel says so!! ;)

PS Camping in a storm sounds fantastic and something I would LOVE to do. I love a good storm but we rarely get them in my area. :)

Your work is so beautiful. And I just love you do so many different things. So excited you love your Tenting. It is so not my thing - but love the fact you have a wonderful escape from every day life.

Katie, these are all looking fantastic! I've fallen behind in blog reading again, but just had the nicest time sipping coffee and following the adventures of your vacation. It looks like you are all having a fabulous time!
