Box of Shame Goal

My friend Rachel over here at her blog listed a goal for her 2017 goals. I told her I was going to copy cat her goal. I have her permission because we both know how perfect of a goal it is.

We both have a...
It's the place where all finished projects go to not be appreciated. Rolled up. Folded up. Put away. We enjoy the cross stitching part. We put love into it. We celebrate the finish. But after.....they hide. So this year Rachel and I are going to dive into our box and FINISH things.

I dumped mine out and counted them all up...
I have 29 things that just can't hide away any longer. So I'm making a goal to empty my box of shame before 2017 turns to 2018. I will add a new progress bar on my sidebar. Hopefully we'll both be seeing progress soon.

Ooh! I cannot wait to see how you finish them off!

Good luck on attempting to completely empty your Box of Shame this year. Seeing as I've got twice as many projects to get through as you I don't think I'll join you in that part of your goal! ;)

What a brilliant goal! I hate to think how many I have but I now have 2 tins of shame. They aren't massive though so hopefully not too many. Perhaps I should go and count them?

Wonderful goal, and I know you will enjoy being able to display the finished items when they are done. What happens to the new items you stitch this year? Does your goal include finishing them too?

That is a great goal and way to be accountable. I have quite a few things that need to be "finished" as well. Maybe every time I see your progress in the "Box of Shame", I will be motivated too!

Who doesn't have a drawer or a box with all those finishes that we haven't finished yet, lol. Sound like a great idea to make 2017 the year of finishing.

I keep them in a dresser drawer! I might have 15 or 20... plus the twelve I hope to finish up in the next few days! Several are all ready to be stitched on the sewing machine and finalized. Just haven't been inspired... But I'm feeling it come back! Look forward to seeing yours progress too!

This is going to be fun to follow too!
I have got behind because of the 18 Cubes I made over the last few months of the year!
