Monday Update

Like I warned you earlier there would be a lot of posts haha. Now that my Smalls and WIPocalypse posts are done I can tell you about my week.

Monday I worked on 99 and got another bottle added...
Tuesday we packed up and headed to our cabin for a mini vacation just Mom, Jeremiah, our dog Izzy, and me. We had a wonderful time. Watched movies and the new TV shows that are back finally. We went out to eat and met up with my god mother for dinner one night. Izzy had a blast. She doesn't have to be on the leash when we are down there and boy does she just LOVE that. We took walks around the pond together. It was just a fun relaxing week. Mom came home Friday morning and Fred came down Friday after work. Jeremiah and I really enjoy being forced to spend more time at our happy place haha.

During watching movies and TV I got a lot of stitching time too. I took 3 pieces with me. Cabin Fever, Salt Water Taffy, and Dragon Eye. I needed to get time on each to finish up my acrostic. Hint Hint I completed my September acrostic...WOHOO! But I'll be posting on that tomorrow I think. I'm going to do a wrap up on my September and then post my October plans. Or maybe I'll just do them tonight haha since I've already annoyed my readers so much today.

Salt Water Taffy I squeezed in just a little bit of time on because I wanted to work on Cabin Fever more. But at least I have progress on it to report...
Dragon Eye I put 200 more stitches in...
Kind of hard to see the progress since it's just more blue blob haha.

Cabin Fever was really my focus this time. I wanted to finish the fire pit section. I finally got it finished and then finished up another section too...
Saturday and Sunday I didn't squeeze in time for stitching. We were busy decorating for Halloween. Yes I forgot to take photos so they will have to come next time. I did get some other photos to share with you though. Fred built Jeremiah 2 awesome cabinets. His game systems were stacked in a cardboard box. The games were in another set of boxes. That just wouldn't do would it? So Fred got busy and made these beautiful cabinets for them...
They turned out perfect. After just a bit they seemed like they were just always there. They fit perfect. So much better than boxes! Fred did an amazing job! Jeremiah loves them.

Now it's a new week. We are hoping to get some of our household decorations out. Need to hurry before Halloween is over haha. I played with my stitching last night and came up with my October stitching plans. I'm really excited now. I hope you all have a great week!

Great progress on all, Katie! Your husband did a wonderful job on the storage shelves for your son's things--everything looks so organized! I need to get busy and pull my fall decorations out, too--I have really procrastinated this year!

So you've got a blue blob as well as a green blob! Love all your progress. It's easy to tell you had a not-so-socially active week. :)
PS any chance of seeing a recent photo of Izzy?

Nice work. I love that campfire, that's a great design.
Fred made some useful storage too, making the cabin a home from home.

One more bottle of beer on the wall... Good progress on your pieces Katie. The Mill Hill looks good especially that fire.

Great job by Fred! I sure could use a bit of his talent. I am sure the shelves look way more organized than the boxes.
