Stop over to Rachel's link up post to see what other beautiful pieces have been created for this check in.
Let's look and see what I've finished off since my last check in...
January 15th I finished off a part of the Stitcher's Code SAL. I've already shared it with my readers but here it is again...
I finished this one in hand using a whip stitch. I make a backstitch border around the stitching on the stitching front side and do a back piece with the border, the backstitch outline, and the year. Then I whip stitch the backstitching together to join the pieces. Kind of like a biscornu but just square instead.
February 6th I pulled out my sewing stuff and had a finishing day. 1 new piece and 4 pieces from 2019.
New Finish was my February Fairy. Finished her as a pillow with backing fabric...
I had the perfect fabric for the back of this one.
Love2Stitch was stitched last year. I made it into a small pillow with backing fabric...
3 Mill Hill Halloween pieces I wanted to do a fun finish on. I bought this wooden plaque at Dollar Tree. Painted it orange. Glued the 3 pieces and some fun buttons I found at JoAnns...
Taboo Kitty on the left. Ghost in the middle. Moonstruck Manor on the right. I'm really happy with how they turned out. Will be fun to display when Halloween season comes around again. Now I just have 3 pieces left unfinished from 2019.
So let's recap my finishes because of this SAL...
2019 I reported 41
Jan -- 19
Feb -- 6
Total of 66
Thanks Rachel for hosting! See ya next month with hopefully more.

Only 6 this month? LOL
I usually whip-stitch my ornies, sometimes with beads as a trim.
The Hallowe'en plaque is a great idea. I do intend to make things like this, maybe the SAL will inspire me this year.
I whip stitch my ornaments like that too....easy and neat!
Loving those cute little fairies :) Nice Halloween finish too.
Some nice finish finishes this month. I love the backing fabric you used and the plaque idea for the small Halloween ones.
Wow...look at you go!! It's wonderful to see all your finishes, and now you can display them whenever you want! I should push myself to finish up things more...you've given me incentive!
I get the feeling that you are definitely on an FFOing mission this year! Your little side bars are looking colourful; wouldn't it be great if you could completely fill up the three for 2017, 2018 and 2019 (no pressure!)
Thank you for participating again this month. The wooden plaque is a great idea for displaying multiple projects, and who can't help but fall in love with your adorable little fairy and other pillow finishes. Great work! :)
You are on a roll with your finishes. I love to read your blog. That February Fairy is too sweet and your backing fabric is perfect. Keep on stitching and traveling so I can keep reading :)
Whip stitch finish is sometimes easier than getting the sewing machine out, you did a great job.
Halloween is fabulous, what a fun piece.
Wow, Katie, do you want to make a quick trip across the Pacific Ocean to Melbourne to come help me clean out my Drawer of Shame? You are doing so well - I only managed one finish last month and two this month: Grand total: three! Love what you did with your Halloween pieces.
Well done on these and it is such a good idea to encourage us to get these beauties fully finished. I love, love, love the Halloween one!
Lovely job as usual finishing all these projects. I love the first pillow the most because of all the purple!
Great finishes this month! x
What sweet finishes this month! You're always so productive!
The February Fairy is adorable, perfect fabric backing for her.
I love your finish for the Halloween Mill Hill, it looks great!
Great finishing Katie! I love them all but I think that Fairy is the cutest!
