I love participating in SALs. It's a fun reason to blog about a hobby I enjoy and I love the feeling of stitching along with others that are as crazy um I mean people like me haha. I happened upon a new blog to me and she was talking about a SAL for next year. Here is the post about the HAP (Huge A$$ Project) SAL. I always feel like my projects are HAPs but when I got to looking most of them don't qualify for the over 300 minimum stitch count rule. But guess what....I'm being haunted by a design that qualifies...
Her name is Selkie and she has decided to invade my brain. I just LOVE seals and this design is so beautiful. She just looks at me saying Katie you need to stitch me! She is 450 W by 646 H so would be my largest HAED in progress. I have 3 story keeps I would like to start too. Also the two I have in my WIP pile! I'm insane. So we will see. Just seems so perfect that she could be a Christmas present under my Christmas tree.

She is beautiful! I can't wait to see your progress!
Oh wow she is big! I'm excited to see your progress on this one!
She's fabulous! I'm excited to watch your progress on her, too!
You have chosen a beautiful chart to work on for your HAP and I shall enjoy watching her progress, along with all your other stitching! :)
This is such a beautiful chart, so subtle and soft.
She is beautiful Katie. Go ahead and start her. We can never have enough WIP's.

I can't remember, did you join Debbie's challenge for next year?

Hi Katie
What a fab design - I think you should go for it (:
That's quite a challenge !! Nice chart, Katie! Good luck with the SAL:)
But there are only two color shades- blues and browns. As far as I have seen, you like colorful stitching. I am not discouraging, just hope you won't get bored. 30% of the image is just the sky. It will take me ages to stitch that sky.
Absolutely gorgeous chart!! Can't wait to see your progress on this SAL :)
Absolutely lovely chart, looking forward to seeing this stitched up :)
