Day #13

We arrived safe and sound at our final destination for this trip Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It was a little over 2 hour trip today. We had some rain this morning but it didn't bother us too much. We got into town about lunch time.

We went to Johnny Rockets for lunch. It's a 50's diner type place. Jeremiah really loves eating there. Every now and then the waitresses all dance to music. They have DELICIOUS shakes. It's in a shopping center. They have these cool floating bridges right on water. The water is full of carp, turtles, and other little fish like blue gills. We spent some time feeding the fish. They are so fun to watch. Then we got all checked into our room and got all our luggage brought in.....what a job.

Tonight we were very excited to go to the Pirate's Voyage show...
It's a Dolly Parton presentation. It used to be a Dixie Stampede but she spent millions of dollars to convert it to a pirate show. It's FANTASTIC! We have been to it every year we've been here in Myrtle Beach. You have a delicious meal while watching an unbelievable show! The picture above I found online to show the arena area. They do diving and amazing circus type acts. There are also some sea lions that perform. They had added some new things this year so that keeps it really interesting. We never know what the show will be like. Well I'm off to rest. I think I need a vacation from my vacation.
