Monday Update

December weeks just fly by don't they? We have been decorating, shopping, waiting for deliveries, on top of doing our normal chores. What a blur. I did sneak in stitching time but not my normal amount. So my progress is smaller. I've been working on a new WIP. It's a Durene Jones 3D ornament available on her Etsy store. Here is what it will look like...
Then you fold it and put it together and it will look like this...
Here is my progress right now my fabric is blue like the top photo just didn't show up very well in this photo...
She also had two others available on her shop. Yes I of course had to have all 3. Don't worry I bought them last year so I don't feel guilty now. At least I'm finally working on one right? I doubt I will get all 3 done by Christmas. I have a few other pieces yelling loudly for attention.

I spent Saturday Christmas shopping with Fred and Sunday Christmas shopping with mom. I'm tired and my poor feet are really mad at me. So I'm going to hurry and get this posted so I can get to stitching. Have a great week! I'll be back Friday with my Advent Blog Hop post for Jo. See ya then!

For not stitching very much, you got quite a bit done! Aren't Durene's charts so cute and fun to stitch?

Oooh, so close to a finish! The snowmen are really cute, and I like the way you've added the date. Hopefully it won't be too long before we see it on your tree. :)

Yes, December is a crazy busy month--I've often asked myself how I got everything accomplished when I was still working! Love that new piece, Katie--what a unique finish it will be :)
