Merry Christmas

Hello Readers. Merry Christmas!!! It was sure a different year but we made it work. So much to talk about...

First off Progress. I put 3 more days into my Winter Gnome by Soda Stitch. Now I have 7 days in...

The left half of the pattern is now complete. Love him!! I joined a Facebook SAL called Seasonal SAL. Perfect for me I love seasonal patterns. Just a fun excuse to stitch. I guess it started on a FlossTube which I still can't get into. I love reading blogs so much fun. Maybe it will come back into fashion haha. Not that I have time to read more.

Let's see next subject. Our weather. What an interesting Christmas. We had a White Christmas! We also had 50 mph winds and FREEZING weather...

This was Friday morning. Brrrr. But we survived!! One of our electric heaters went out and I was like Ohhh no. Luckily just needed to clean the filter and it started right back up. We got probably 2 inches of snow so the snow didn't really pan out like they said but the winds and cold sure did. Just not really able to step outside without making sure to cover every spot of skin. Even Spike didn't like it. The cold hurt his little feet.

Santa was good to us (as always)...

Jeremiah was happy with his stack of games. We also got board games to play. Fred got Lego kits and cigars. We got an air fryer to add to our cooking equipment. We were all very happy. Spoiled Rotten. Jeremiah and Fred bought me 4 new patterns...

Season 2 will definitely be my monthly piece for next year. Just need to order some fabric and I can start it in January. The Eagle needs to be kitted up quickly. I love that one. The gnomes are just perfect for my new gnome fascination.

I missed my mom horrible. I know she was celebrating with her loved ones that passed away including her parents. Boy I miss her hugs. I miss her laugh. I miss all the great things we used to be able to do. She was with us in spirit of course. She made sure to show her signs. Just not the same. We did good though. We made some new traditions. We honored some normal traditions. We loved every moment. We loved each other. My support is amazing through this whole thing. My dad's family showed so much care which they always do but it just felt like they knew. Just supporting me. Supporting us. Our new home worked. Even in wind chill of 30 below zero. We got this. We will be okay.

Merry Christmas!!! Thanks for being in my life. I just love my blog world friends.

Aww what a great post! It looks like you all had a great Christmas, I'm glad you're finding a way through missing your mom. I can't get into flosstube either. I love the new charts and can't wait to see them stitched up!

Look at all those wonderful Gnomes, I love them all!
You received some great patterns, they should keep you busy for a while. It's nice to see your dragon will have a drinking buddy! Jeremiah looks as happy as the boys receiving games!
Brr, it certainly was cold with you. I'm glad you kept your power and the heater was an easy fix.
Christmas was certainly different this year, but being with family is a blessing. Treasure those memories and it's wonderful to make new ones.
Hugs to you!

Wow, you did have some cold weather! But the cabin must have been cosy if Jeremiah only needed a t-shirt.
So glad that you were able to make the most of the festivities and remember your Mum too. It’s lovely that the rest of the family surrounded you with love.
Looking forward to seeing those HoD stitched up next year.

I am with you on FlossTube, I just don't get it. Oh that weather; just hearing the temperature makes me cold. It get a little chilly here but I am really happy to be away from those temperatures. Love your new charts. I am sure your Mom was there smiling at all the festivities of the day and I am sure she is happy that you are in good hands with and have lots of family support.

Happy New Year to all of you. Praying 2023 will be a much better year for all!
