It was a busy week but let's see what stitching I got done first...
Monday I did the 6th part of the blackwork SAL. Love the leaves!
Then Tuesday, Thursday and Friday I worked on AAN Paw Print for least 30 minutes and then Season 2 Year of Celebrations February piece...
The Paw Print is so slow but I do enjoy working on it. Small amounts of time works well for it. February is slowly coming along. Love the cardinals.
Wednesday I needed 6 miles for a challenge I was in. So I was too tired after to stitch. Yes I did get it! Saturday morning we woke up and took a road trip. Our dog Spike has never had a night in a hotel. We have a 2 night trip planned for Easter and our big May trip so figured why not do a fun get away night for a test. So we headed up north to visit friends. Spike did amazing of course. He loved his time away. Behaved perfectly the whole time.

Wonderful progress on all of your WIPs, Katie--I especially love the HOD birds :) So nice that you could get away for a bit and that Spike did so well in the hotel. He sounds like one special pup :) Enjoy your week--and Happy Valentine's Day! ♥
Katie: It sounds like you all had a blast. and Spike too.
Nice progress on your stitching.
Have a great day.

The Blackwork piece looks great Katie! I just love how the sections are small so you can have time to stitch it and something else! Looks like you guys had a great road trip and a fun time visiting friends. Even Spike got to make a new friend.
Great work on yoir WIPs, love the blackwork and they way it is growing.
The trip looks fun, especially that bench!
Great progress and keeping up with your stitching.
It looks like you had a great getaway, especially Spike! Visiting with friends is always nice and being near the water is a big plus.
Your stitching is lovely! I've been eyeing that Blackwork SAL too, and the leaves are my favorite part! Sounds like you had a wonderful get away, it's great to see some place new especially in the wintertime, it's good for body and mind! So glad you got your waking in too...well done!
Such a busy week and great progress. I love the cardinals too. Glad Spike doesn't get travel sick!
