Nov 17th Monday Update

 Last Monday we hit 1k subscribers on our Flosstube. I can't believe it! What an honor and I just love being a part of that community. Wow.

Tuesday and Wednesday I got back to work on Along the Nesting Boxes by Jardin Prive to finish off the November section...

 Wow just one section left!!! November took 4 days and 1,438 stitches. Total now 14,468. Love it so much. After that was finishing I worked on the 2025 Peppermint Purple SAL. She is wrapping up 2025 so we can start 2026 in December. So I added Weeks 45 through 48...

I finished that up Thursday. Friday I had a new start. Rabbit Gnome a Jim Shore Mill Hill kit...

I added an amazing 800 because Fred was gone for Friday for his radio fest. He had a great time. Saturday and Sunday I added 400 to Yggdrasil...

We have a major health issue in our close family. Scary and sad. I have my first colonoscopy this week....fun fun. I'm nervous and just ready for it to be over. Anyway. Please love yourself. Good luck stitching all the things!!
 

Nov 10th Monday Update

 Another Monday. But I attended a fantastic retreat over the weekend. New to me and I had such a great time I booked next year too. Please check out my flosstube for more pictures of the retreat.

Let's see what I worked on last week...

Monday I added 74 more to Hedgehog by Primitive Hare...

 Tuesday and Wednesday I got to work on the November section on Along the Nesting Boxes by Jardin Prive...

Can't believe it's just this one and one more left to finish this beautiful piece.

Jeremiah picked me a new start for every day at the retreat. I headed up Wednesday night and it was like I said a fantastic time. Relaxing. Full of friendship. Thursday he picked When I think of Autumn by Puntini Puntini...

I added 426 for Day 1. Friday I started Autumn Quaker by Primrose Cottage...

I'm using the DMC variegated #51. Love it so far. Saturday was Happy Turkey by Imaginating... 

I swapped out the fabric to an evenweave for this one.

Nov 3rd Monday Update

 How is it already November?!? WOW. It was a very fast October. November is full of craziness haha. So let's get this update posted...

I had all the starts last week haha. 4 new Halloween starts and 1 WIP progress to talk about.

Monday and Tuesday was Ghosties & Gourds...

I was given the complete kit by a wonderful viewer Colleen. Love it so much!!! Look at that linen!! Wow.

Wednesday and Thursday was I Can't I'm Stitching by Jardin Prive... 

I am just so in love with Jardin Prive. Look at that witch!!!

Friday I added two weeks to the Peppermint Purple 2025 SAL..

After that this Eyeball Martini Mill Hill Kit screamed start me...

Saturday I didn't get to stitch because we hosted a Halloween party.

Sunday I got to start my first Primitive Hare The Hedgehog with two friends. I splurged and got the special fabric and oh I love it!!!

 I leave Wednesday for a stitching retreat and I'm really looking forward to it. I will be back with hopefully a lot of fun progress to share. Love yourself. Good luck stitching all the things.

Oct 20th Monday Update

 Hello time for another Monday check in.

Last Monday I worked on Enchanted Pumpkin Mill Hill kit. I also worked on it on Wednesday. Put 605 total in it and finally finished my medium orange background. Seemed to take forever haha...

 Tuesday I added 454 to Halloween Gnomes by Jardin Prive...

 Thursday I added 342 to Pumpkin Party also by Jardin Prive...

Friday was 3 years since my mom passed away and it hit me so hard. I pulled out Spirits of the Watch Tower by Glendon Place in her honor. I added 550 on Friday and Saturday... 

That little crab is just adorable!!! Sunday I added Weeks 41 and 42 to Peppermint Purple SAL...

Then I added 119 to Ragnarok my Long Dog Sampler. But I didn't take a picture yet because I was hoping to work on it today as well. Okay. I'm off. Have a wonderful week ahead. Love yourself. Good luck stitching all the things.
 

Oct 13th Monday Update

 Hello blog world. Back for another Monday update. 6 WIPs 2 New Starts.

Monday I added Weeks 39 and 40 to the 2025 Peppermint Purple SAL. I did sign up for the 2026 SAL too Thanks Faith for telling me about this SAL...

Can't believe that's all we have left of 2025!!! How!

Tuesday and Wednesday was time for a new start. Jeremiah spun Pumpkin Party by Jardin Prive last week on my Flosstube from my Halloween wheel...

671 was added to it in the two days...

Using 32ct Vintage Country Mocha for this one. 2 over 2 with the suggested DMC. I just love Jardin Prive!!! 

Thursday was from my WIPs wheel. Luminous Fiber Arts Trick or Treat...

I changed this fabric to 32ct Pumpkin Murano and the thread is WDW Envy. 

Friday was back to the 2025 Lola Crow SAL the Extraordinary Birds SAL. I finally finished Feat 4 and started 5...

Saturday and Sunday I had another new start and another Jardin Prive (See I'm addicted!) Halloween Among the Gnomes. Added 307 over the weekend.  

I also worked on Yggdrasil from Paine Free Crafts over Saturday and Sunday. Added 212 total...

Sept 8th Monday Update

Hello anyone still here. Mostly me looking back so Hi me haha. Let's see what I worked on since last week...

 ABCingo is here in Monthly Magazine Challenge and that's the focus this month. 1st was Monday and the letter spun was L Just a note we get 25 picks before the challenge is over. Our boards has 35 spots though. All the letters of the alphabet and 1 - 9 numbers. For the numbers we stitch motifs. An example is a letter counts as a motif. Just depends on the size of the pattern so Carolyn said be smart on picking that haha. Anyway for L I pulled out Little Helpers by Lucie Heaton. It was Day 3 on this one...

Tuesday the letter spun was G. So I excitedly grabbed Noel Gnomes by Jardin Prive. I wondered if I could keep it out and finish it. Tuesday I got 264. Wednesday was an amazing day. I got 1k stitches!!!! I don't know when I did that last. Wednesday 5 was spun so I added 5 areas on Noel Gnomes....Snowflakes,the gnome, the stool he's standing on, the snow, and the tree. Thursday I just needed 100 more to finish it... 

The Halloween one is now screaming to be started. I checked and I have it all kitted up and ready to start. We got a number for Thursday 7. So I added 7 letters to Summer Time by NY Dreamer...

After that I pulled out Peppermint Purple 2025 SAL to add Weeks 35 and 36... 

The upper left two "corner" pieces were this time. Next I got the two square at the top that are empty. I finished the stitching up Friday. Letter P was spun for Friday so after finishing up the Peppermint Purple SAL I pulled out Along the Nesting Boxes by Jardin Prive. I wanted to get the September part added. 

634 added Friday. 335 added Saturday which the call was X so put in Xtra Stitches. 283 added Sunday so Zeroed in on a finish haha.

Now it can go away till October. I pulled out Jeremiah's favorite piece Yggdrasil for a bit Sunday... 

So 148 more added at least. Slowly but surely right? Okay another week of ABCingo ahead. I have to get to stitching haha.

Sep 2nd Monday Update

 I totally forgot to update last week. My brain haha. Let's have a fun look back at the last two weeks of stitching...

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday the first week I worked on finishing up Summer Quaker by Primrose Cottage

 Friday the 22nd I added Weeks 33 and 34 to the Peppermint Purple 2025 SAL...

I also added 284 to the 2025 Lola Crow Extraordinary Birds SAL... 

Over the weekend no stitching was done. I had a lovely date day with Fred on the 23rd. 

Last week Tuesday I worked on Noel Gnomes by Jardin Prive...

Getting close and I really want to finish this one up.

Wednesday I worked on Trick or Treat by Luminous Fiber Arts. Only added 106 then put it down to work on something else... 

Thursday I did the same thing with the Honey Bee Mill Hill Kit. Just 100 added to the wings...

 

I was trying both days to get some added to the Summer Time by NY Dreamer. I added 429 at least...

 I doubt it and When I Think of Summer by Puntini Puntini will be done in time for Fall but that's okay. So many lovely pieces screaming for attention.

I got 49 little stitches added to Creepy Christmas Village by Lola Crow before everyone showed up for Labor Day weekend. It was fun. Crazy and I'm exhausted but it was a fun way to celebrate the final big camping weekend. 

September is here! Wow. We have a fun vacation planned for end of the month. Our 2nd vacation without my mom. So weird but we are really looking forward to it. Sault Ste Marie, MI and Mackinac. Places my mom loved. Fred has only spent a few days in both places so it will be fun to have a week and a few days to relax and enjoy lots of things. We are so excited.
