Sept 15th Monday Update

 Hey blogworld. Here is what I've been working on since my last update...

 ABCingo is going strong so working on those every day.

Monday was A so Yggdrasil came out because Anne Stokes is the artist. Only 100 added but progress is progress...

Tuesday K was called so I gave Jeremiah my picks to pick from. First up was Mushroom Gnome a Jim Shore Mill Hill... 

Wohoo it's a finish!!! After finishing him up I still had time so worked on Hanging with Santa a Janlynn kit...

Wednesday was Q so Canine Quotes by The Scarlett House came out. I added 218 for Wednesday... 

C was picked for Thursday so since I was so closed Jeremiah said Finish that one...

113 more and it was done. Rest of the day I worked on Christmas Truck by Vervaco and added 330 to it... 

Friday was an easy pick for Jeremiah because it was M so The Mandalorian came out from Forbidden Fiber Co...

314 added on Friday. Then U was picked for Saturday so kept it out and added 230 more...

 Sunday N was called so Summer Time by New York Dreamer was picked...

 400 was added. It won't be done by Fall but that's fine. Least I'm making progress on it.

Sept 8th Monday Update

Hello anyone still here. Mostly me looking back so Hi me haha. Let's see what I worked on since last week...

 ABCingo is here in Monthly Magazine Challenge and that's the focus this month. 1st was Monday and the letter spun was L Just a note we get 25 picks before the challenge is over. Our boards has 35 spots though. All the letters of the alphabet and 1 - 9 numbers. For the numbers we stitch motifs. An example is a letter counts as a motif. Just depends on the size of the pattern so Carolyn said be smart on picking that haha. Anyway for L I pulled out Little Helpers by Lucie Heaton. It was Day 3 on this one...

Tuesday the letter spun was G. So I excitedly grabbed Noel Gnomes by Jardin Prive. I wondered if I could keep it out and finish it. Tuesday I got 264. Wednesday was an amazing day. I got 1k stitches!!!! I don't know when I did that last. Wednesday 5 was spun so I added 5 areas on Noel Gnomes....Snowflakes,the gnome, the stool he's standing on, the snow, and the tree. Thursday I just needed 100 more to finish it... 

The Halloween one is now screaming to be started. I checked and I have it all kitted up and ready to start. We got a number for Thursday 7. So I added 7 letters to Summer Time by NY Dreamer...

After that I pulled out Peppermint Purple 2025 SAL to add Weeks 35 and 36... 

The upper left two "corner" pieces were this time. Next I got the two square at the top that are empty. I finished the stitching up Friday. Letter P was spun for Friday so after finishing up the Peppermint Purple SAL I pulled out Along the Nesting Boxes by Jardin Prive. I wanted to get the September part added. 

634 added Friday. 335 added Saturday which the call was X so put in Xtra Stitches. 283 added Sunday so Zeroed in on a finish haha.

Now it can go away till October. I pulled out Jeremiah's favorite piece Yggdrasil for a bit Sunday... 

So 148 more added at least. Slowly but surely right? Okay another week of ABCingo ahead. I have to get to stitching haha.

Sep 2nd Monday Update

 I totally forgot to update last week. My brain haha. Let's have a fun look back at the last two weeks of stitching...

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday the first week I worked on finishing up Summer Quaker by Primrose Cottage

 Friday the 22nd I added Weeks 33 and 34 to the Peppermint Purple 2025 SAL...

I also added 284 to the 2025 Lola Crow Extraordinary Birds SAL... 

Over the weekend no stitching was done. I had a lovely date day with Fred on the 23rd. 

Last week Tuesday I worked on Noel Gnomes by Jardin Prive...

Getting close and I really want to finish this one up.

Wednesday I worked on Trick or Treat by Luminous Fiber Arts. Only added 106 then put it down to work on something else... 

Thursday I did the same thing with the Honey Bee Mill Hill Kit. Just 100 added to the wings...

 

I was trying both days to get some added to the Summer Time by NY Dreamer. I added 429 at least...

 I doubt it and When I Think of Summer by Puntini Puntini will be done in time for Fall but that's okay. So many lovely pieces screaming for attention.

I got 49 little stitches added to Creepy Christmas Village by Lola Crow before everyone showed up for Labor Day weekend. It was fun. Crazy and I'm exhausted but it was a fun way to celebrate the final big camping weekend. 

September is here! Wow. We have a fun vacation planned for end of the month. Our 2nd vacation without my mom. So weird but we are really looking forward to it. Sault Ste Marie, MI and Mackinac. Places my mom loved. Fred has only spent a few days in both places so it will be fun to have a week and a few days to relax and enjoy lots of things. We are so excited. Augustu 18th Monday Update

 Where is time going so fast?? Wow How is it August 18th. Another Monday update. So crazy. I'm going totally insane haha. My latest flosstube was just duh haha. Oh well. We know me by now haha.

Monday was a wash out. I hate technology. Of course need it for everything I love doing haha. 

Tuesday finished the August section of Along the Nesting Boxes by Jardin Prive...

 

4 months left to do. How?!? I juve love this one. I will actually miss it when it's finished. 

After that I spent time on my loudest screaming WIP. Summer Time by NY Dreamer. I really want to finish this one. So I worked on it Tue, Wed, and Thur. Added 901 across the bottom...

I reluctantly had to put it down. Friday was back to the Extraordinary Birds SAL by Lola Crow. The 2025 SAL. My first to join....

2 more to be released. I am still way behind on Feat 4. That's okay I enjoy every slow slow stitch haha. I'm working on the Cassowary now on the left side. The one cut in half at the moment haha. 

Saturday and Sunday was Yggdrasil. I added 482 more. Finished page 3. Now 4.2% complete haha.  

I also had some haul. On my flosstube I shared my Luminous Fiber Arts Mystery Stitching box I received. Love it all. I also was forced to get the new Mill Hill Jim Shore gnomes...

LOVE THEM!!!

Plus this seasonal Yggdrasil a fellow flosstuber found... 

I also got the new Witchy Stitcher book from Amazon. So a lot of new choices for projects which is completely something I didn't need haha.

Apr 14th Monday Update

 So last week everything went wrong with my flosstube. I ended up editing it 3 times so it was a very frustrating day. Then I went to do laundry in the evening. So I totally missed posting my Monday update. Then the week just flew by. But anyway I'm here now.

Let's flash back to beginning of April...

Tuesday the 1st I worked on Rainbow Dragon for Springo in Monthly Magazine Challenge FB group. That's going on the whole month of April and I've been enjoying it a lot. After the daily picks I worked on Along the Nesting Boxes by Jardin Prive to finish up the April section.

Wednesday was Mushroom Gnome Mill Hill kit for Springo and back to the Nesting Boxes. I also added weeks 13 and 14 to the Peppermint Purple SAL.

Thursday I worked on Patriotic Gnome Littles by Waxing Moon and back to the Nesting Boxes.

Friday Rainbow Dragon a Paine Free Crafts design was picked for Springo and I finished the April section for the Jardin Prive...

I just love that duck!

Saturday was Forever in Peace by Sweet Wing Studio. Sunday had the same piece picked so that was nice. Already on the QSnap

Sunday was the first day on the Extraordinary Birds SAL by Lola Crow...

I have till May 16th to get the frame finished. Loving it so far.

This week....

Monday was a blur. No stitching. 

Tuesday I made up for it with progress on 3 things. Forever in Peace by Sweet Wing Studio, Lady Liberty by Keslyn's and the Birds SAL.

Just 100 added to Lady Liberty this time around.

Wednesday was Canine Quotes by The Scarlett House and When I think of Spring by Puntini Puntini.

Thursday was time for a new start on Summer Time by NY Dreamer and Colorful Eagle which was on my acrostic.

Started in the bottom left corner. It doesn't look like much yet haha.

Friday Canine Quotes by called again and back to the Birds SAL.

Added 213 to Canine Quotes this week.

Added 1,019 to the Birds SAL for a total of 1,619 now.

Saturday Rainbow Dragon was called and Colorful Eagle by Kitty & Me I took to my stitch day get together. 

Sunday was Forever in Peace again by Sweet Wing Studio...

So lots of progress. I also got some haul from my stitching store and threads for upcoming May patterns for Mental Health May. Video is uploading now hopefully correctly if you would like to see those.

Sept 16th Monday Update - A Finish to Report

Hello readers though very few haha. I return for my Monday journal post. Let's see what I worked on last week...

Still going strong with the Magazine Monthly Challenge Facebook ABCingo. Given a letter every day and need 100 stitches to represent that letter.

Monday letter was O. So Owe them All Erica Michaels came back out for Day 2...

Since this one is tent (half) stitches you need 2 for 1 stitch in the online games which I understand even though 40ct is so tiny. I did 600 which is 300 in the games.

Tuesday the letter as N. So Autumn Time by New York Dreamer came out for Day 11. Stay tuned for that picture. I added 580.

Wednesday letter P so I pulled out Halloween Quaker by Primrose Cottage for Day 2...

314 added. Worked my way across the top and to the bottom right tree to check my material size. 

Thursday was A and Autumn Time came back out for a fantastic day of stitching 682 added to finish it!!!

Started before Counted Stitches. 2,049 in 2024.

Now just Summer Time left for this series to be complete. I'm already thinking about next year's series too haha. 

Friday was Letter Z and I could only think of one WIP that would work. Dragon Eye by Eva's Designs because it's Zoomed in on his eye. 624 for Day 11 added to this one...

Saturday letter E was called so Enchanted Pumpkin Mill Hill came out for Day 5 and 280 stitches...

Sunday letter G so Grow Together HAED came out for a very confetti heavy 128 added for Day 26...

I earned 2 bingo wins now...

So I get entered in the drawing. 10 letters left and I'm hoping for a full card. I went through and planned the rest of the letters out with WIPs so I am ready for them to be called at least. Today is letter F so I'm pulling out Forever in Peace since it's on my acrostic too. 

I have to share this adorable picture of Spike...

He loves to hide under our bed. But of course he doesn't want to miss anything. So he poked his head out and rested on the footstool we have. How adorable! Now he can watch us and hide same time haha.
