Dec 8th Monday Update

 I need more time haha. Let's see what I worked on last week...

Monday and Tuesday was a new start with Lisa my stitching bestie. Cardinal Joy Dimensions kit. I just showed the picture last post if interested. I added 746 in the two days. Using 28ct White Evenweave for this so I could have bigger margins on the sides...

 Love it so far. 

Wednesday was two advent starts. First up was from The Steady Thread. I'm doing the Advent Tree. I finished the pot and the first row of the tree...

Using an opalescent 18ct raw piece I had in my stash. The base of the tree is 632 and I'm using 701 for the tree. I would love to catch up with this. Each day ornaments are being released.

The 2nd advent SAL is by Artmishka on Facebook. I loved her SAL last year. I'm using the same thread as last year a Caron Waterlily called Holiday and a piece of 28ct Star Sapphire Jobelan I got from a viewer... 

Finished part one before putting it done. Love it!!!

Holiday Truck Ornaments by Dimensions was a spin for last week. I worked on it Thursday. I added 80 because I also kitted up a stack of new projects to start haha. 

Last night I added 119 to Autumn Quaker after a fun weekend away...

We went up to have our Christmas shopping fun at Michigan City. It was a great weekend away. Lots of Christmas shopping. Just a few things left to gather. Now I need to focus on finishing my two Autumn pieces and the last section of Along the Nesting Boxes. So we'll see what I can get done by next week.

Dec 1st Monday Update

 December is here. I am happy because I love the decorations and I hope life slows down (except our weekends are nonstop busy haha). Wonder what projects will jump onto my QSnaps this month. Let's see what I worked on last week...

A lot of everything but stitching. Monday Tuesday and Wednesday was nothing. Wow. But so much prep for Thanksgiving and life stuff that's okay. Our Thanksgiving was fantastic!!! 

Thursday I finished the 2025 Peppermint Purple SAL...

Just love the way it turned out. Friday was another no stitching day. We put out our decorations and had Thanksgiving with my family at Grandma's. It was very nice. Saturday I warned everyone to leave me alone and I got 800 added to Autumn Quaker from Primrose Cottage...

Close to finished finally. Missed my goal of end of November but that's fine with me. Life is meant to be lived.

Sunday I worked on Jeremiah's Christmas WIP Wheel Spin which was A Type of Christmas from Erin Elizabeth...

Really a joy to work on.

Busy week we are leaving Friday morning for a weekend away. Looking forward to it but want to spend all hours till then stitching haha. First up is a new start with my stitching bestie Lisa... 

Can't wait. I have two SALs I would like to do this week plus all the things. Plus Jeremiah spun Holiday Truck Ornaments again...plus plus plus haha.

Nov 24th Monday Update

 Hello everyone. Turkey Day week prep is in full swing and panic about keeping track of everything that needs done haha. 

Let's look back and see what I've been working on.

 Tuesday and Wednesday I worked on Autumn Quaker by Primrose Cottage. Using 32ct Vintage Country Mocha for this set. 2 over 2. Using DMC 51. I'm 3 days in now. I would love to finish it by end of November if possible but we'll see. 

Thursday I put in Weeks 49 and 50. Just the last two weeks left coming out this week to finish off the 2025 SAL. I can't wait to see what the 2026 one will look like...

Using 32ct Platinum Lugana for this one. 310 for the border. 155, 333, 550 is the purples used. 

Jeremiah spun an old WIP. It hadn't been out since 2023. Boba Fett by Valenti Cross Stitch who I can't find now so must my OOP now.

Added 528 to him Thursday evening and Friday. Using 28ct Thyme Jobelan. 

Saturday I worked on Holiday Truck Ornaments a Dimensions fun kit. Day 2 on the camper... 

While working on that I heard the screams of the new Durene Jones Christmas SAL. So started it Sunday with my stitching bestie Lisa...

Nov 10th Monday Update

 Another Monday. But I attended a fantastic retreat over the weekend. New to me and I had such a great time I booked next year too. Please check out my flosstube for more pictures of the retreat.

Monday I added 74 more to Hedgehog by Primitive Hare...

 Tuesday and Wednesday I got to work on the November section on Along the Nesting Boxes by Jardin Prive...

Can't believe it's just this one and one more left to finish this beautiful piece.

Jeremiah picked me a new start for every day at the retreat. I headed up Wednesday night and it was like I said a fantastic time. Relaxing. Full of friendship. Thursday he picked When I think of Autumn by Puntini Puntini...

I added 426 for Day 1. Friday I started Autumn Quaker by Primrose Cottage...

I'm using the DMC variegated #51. Love it so far. Saturday was Happy Turkey by Imaginating... 

I swapped out the fabric to an evenweave for this one.

Sep 2nd Monday Update

 I totally forgot to update last week. My brain haha. Let's have a fun look back at the last two weeks of stitching...

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday the first week I worked on finishing up Summer Quaker by Primrose Cottage

 Friday the 22nd I added Weeks 33 and 34 to the Peppermint Purple 2025 SAL...

I also added 284 to the 2025 Lola Crow Extraordinary Birds SAL... 

Over the weekend no stitching was done. I had a lovely date day with Fred on the 23rd. 

Last week Tuesday I worked on Noel Gnomes by Jardin Prive...

Getting close and I really want to finish this one up.

Wednesday I worked on Trick or Treat by Luminous Fiber Arts. Only added 106 then put it down to work on something else... 

Thursday I did the same thing with the Honey Bee Mill Hill Kit. Just 100 added to the wings...

 

I was trying both days to get some added to the Summer Time by NY Dreamer. I added 429 at least...

 I doubt it and When I Think of Summer by Puntini Puntini will be done in time for Fall but that's okay. So many lovely pieces screaming for attention.

I got 49 little stitches added to Creepy Christmas Village by Lola Crow before everyone showed up for Labor Day weekend. It was fun. Crazy and I'm exhausted but it was a fun way to celebrate the final big camping weekend. 

September is here! Wow. We have a fun vacation planned for end of the month. Our 2nd vacation without my mom. So weird but we are really looking forward to it. Sault Ste Marie, MI and Mackinac. Places my mom loved. Fred has only spent a few days in both places so it will be fun to have a week and a few days to relax and enjoy lots of things. We are so excited.  Let's see what I worked on last week...

Monday and Tuesday was Yggdrasil days. Added 561 total to it...

 I have reached the top of the tree and I'm so excited to see some greens or whatever to go in.

Wednesday was time for the doomed Summer Quaker by Primrose Cottage. After last week the huge section that I miscounted this time I almost run out of fabric on the bottom right side. I don't know why this piece sure doesn't want stitched haha. Using DMC 125 for this one...

 I should have enough to finish into a pillow at least. Crazy mistakes with this one.

 Thursday was a kitting day. 

 Friday was Ragnarok my new Long Dog Sampler to stitch along with a friend's birthday. She was started a new Long Dog. Using 3818 for this one...

 Saturday and Sunday I attended my first Lindy Stitches event Midsummer Stitch. It was a lot of fun. It's crazy to get recognized now because of being on Flosstube. The compliments make me blush but they are so sweet. I appreciate it so much. I got to meet a few new people and had a really nice time overall. I think I will attend the September one if I have nothing else going on. Fred was so sweet and gave me the weekend completely off so I got a TON of stitching done.

1,576 and that finished off Colorful Eagle by Kitty & Me!!!!

So Wohoo a Finish!!! In honor of that or really just because on Thursday I kitted up 6 new soon to be started pieces...

Several of them have start dates planned. I can't wait. First up is the one in the bottom right in honor of a friend's birthday. I also got this adorable piece off a destash group...

It was dated 1998 so same age as Jeremiah.....vintage haha. 

So much to do. So much fun planned. I can't wait. Let's go stitch!!!

July 14th Monday Update

 Hello Readers. Here is my weekly progress. 2 new starts because....START ALL THE THINGS!!!

Monday I worked on Yggdrasil....stay tuned.

Tuesday and Wednesday was time for Summer Quaker by Primrose Cottage my first new start of the week. I'm using another DMC variegated 125 this time because I love the green for summer...

I made a huge mistake haha... 

But got it all fixed...

Thursday was time to start my first ever Long Dog Sampler..... 

Ragnarok! Love it. We picked a 32ct Vintage Country Mocha. Jeremiah picked 3818 because he loves green and I love it so far...

516 added so far. Doing over 1 complete X. I swear Long Dog has some spell on it because it was so relaxing and fun to stitch on. Who knows why haha.

Friday was time for two weeks on Peppermint Purple SAL. Added 27 and 28 Weeks... 

I also added 322 to the Birds SAL from Lola Crow...

 Saturday we had a lovely long day watching an AEW PPV and I got 660 added to the Colorful Eagle by Kitty & Me. Finished the Kreinik...

Love it so much! Now just to color it in. 

Sunday I worked more on Yggdrasil. 34 added Monday 410 added Sunday... 

So many plans and so many pieces yelling for attention. I think I have my weekly WIPs planned....we'll see. See ya next Monday. Love yourself. Smile as often as possible. Stitch all the Things!!!

June 9th Monday Update

 I missed a few weeks. I was going crazy to stitch and just didn't take any computer time. I'm back. Let's see what I worked on during my time away (I did post my Flosstubes if you have watched but if not I want to post here too.)

Yggdrasil *Wooo* haha. Has been getting a lot of progress lately. This is my piece for #wipintoshape challenge. Here it was at the beginning for the May 5th start...

Here it is now... 

Very happy with my progress and will keep going for the challenge. I work on this a minimum of 1 Day a week on Sundays for the challenge. Enjoying every stitch.

I had a few new starts...

Far Better Things from Sweet Wing Studio. Using this as one of the Mental Health Care SAL pieces for May. Love the message. 

Honey Bee Mill Hill Kit. 

Black Pearl finally came back out. 

The Extraordinary Birds SAL from Lola Crow. I've been stitching like crazy still way behind haha... 

That's okay what a beautiful piece and fun to work on.

Started Liberty Squared another 40ct silk gauze Erica Michaels piece. 

The Peppermint Purple SAL I'm adding every 2 weeks...

Spring Quaker from Primrose Cottage was finished off finally this last week... 

When I Think of Spring from Puntini Puntini was also finished...

I was making myself crazy again with the pressure of my stitching. I admitted it outloud and immediately felt relieved. So I have been just enjoying my stitching again. What a relief. I love the challenges but I jump in way way over my head every time haha. So I weeded out a group I didn't really enjoy. Opened up my choices to cover all my WIPs instead of just a small amount. It's helped me so much!!! So I'm back and loving it. Okay you are finally caught up. I think haha.
