Day 2 of CJC

Today Jeremiah picked out Think Big! I noticed it's a different chart and uses some stitches I've not seen before. Straddling Stitches and these half stitches I've not done. I realized the chart is from England and then I understood why haha. Here is where I got with it today...
I had this piece of hand dyed fabric in my stash. I have no information on it but it was the right size. It looks like a sky in person. The only bad thing about this CJC is that I want to keep working on them and make more progress haha. I'm glad I kept my list down to 15 cause I really look forward to working on this one again.

Today Fred (hubby) had to work but the rest of our household didn't. We watched Dolphin Tale 2 together. It was really good of course it helps how much I LOVE dolphins! Jeremiah is still having a blast playing his new Xbox games. We are supposed to be getting some ice tomorrow so our weekend plans consist of nothing at all. Our heater stopped working the other night and of course it was freezing outside but when we woke up and messed with it I guess it felt sorry cause it started right back up. Just hope it never tries that again. Next week it's supposed to get really cold. One night the low is even in the negatives. Well I'm off to check the other blogs and see what others started today. This is so much fun! See ya tomorrow with another one.

I love this chart too! His little paws are just so cute.
Although only two projects have been started so far I know what you mean about not wanting to put one down and move on. It'll be nice to know that you can return to it soon though. :)

This one is so cute and you made great progress! Sounds like the perfect day, a family film and stitching. I know exactly what you mean about wanting to get back to actually stitching the pieces! And what's this about weird stitches? I'm English and I've never heard of straddling stitches!

That pup is so cute!! Love this project!! Glad to hear your heater works again! I'm lucky I'm married to a civil engineer, cuz when things don't work I just have a tendency to kick it to make it work again! Lol happy stitching!!

Thank you. I love it too! My hubby picked this one out for me. He knows how much I love my dog. Whatever makes it work works for me haha.

That is a really cute design. I hope you don't mind learning new specialty stitches--do you have a choice???
