Another CJC Finish

Winter from the Seasonal Wordplay book by Leisure Arts.
Fabric 28ct Antique White Jobelan
Used Suggested DMC threads 312 and 552
Started for CJC Jan 8, 2015. Took 4 Days.

Another one marked off my CJC list. Wohoo! He seemed to go very quickly. Love the Brrrr's. I'm thinking this would look fantastic as a decorative pillow type of finish. So until I get the courage up to finish him into the bin of shame he goes.

Household Update. The furnace guys came yesterday and put in our new new furnace. Yep typed that right. The repair guy came one day and the poor guy spent 10 hours working on the other brand new furnace trying to get it all figured out. For some reason it wasn't working right. Then we finally figured it out. It was installed for natural gas not propane like we have. So needless to say we were lucky it worked at all the first few days. So he put in some parts to "fix" it to propane. Come to find out it didn't fix the problem at all. So he made it so we had heat at least and they tried to figure it out. They called and said it was a failure on their part and did we want some new parts or a new furnace. Well since we spent the money to have a new furnace let's not start with problems so a new new one got installed. The guy even admitted it was the right thing to do. No telling what got messed up doing it the wrong way all that time. So yesterday the guys put in our new new furnace haha. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this one is actually going to work for longer than a week. I would still use the company again. They admitted the mistake and took full blame. They were also quick to make sure we had heat and to fix it as soon as they could. The drain is still clogged but we have it draining away from important stuff at least. That will have to wait for some other day. The sink is still dripping but we can survive. Next up is the septic tank needs emptied. The fun of owning a home right?

Now for fun news. We got our vacation in April setup today! We are going back to Disney World. We are also going back to Discovery Cove and going to Sea World this year since it's included in the tickets to Discovery Cove. We are also heading down a few days early and going to Kennedy Space Center. Jeremiah thought that would be fun to check out. I went when I was 15 and was bored to death but hopefully now that I'm older I'll care more haha. I was a snotty teenager last time haha. So as if I wasn't already excited when we were talking about it but something about having it setup and having the confirmation numbers makes it really exciting.

Love that finish! That company sounds good to admit their mistake. Hope that's the furnace fixed at least. Your holiday plans sound so exciting!

I love Discovery Cove. I'd love to meet up with you guys when you come. I'd offer you Seaworld tickets but since you get it free anyway there's no point lol. We may go to the cove in April since it's my birthday but we have to pay for it still so we'll see. Have fun!

And holiday plans - fantastic! Something to really look forward to after the stress of your household problems. :)

Lovely finish, though I could do without the cold toes ahaha.

It's good that the company owned up to their mistake and you're all sorted out now! And your vacation sounds wonderful, I'd be in heaven with all those places.
