Feb WIPocalypse

Today is WIPocalypse so that means it's time to check in with what us stitchers have been up to lately. I have a tab at the top that shows everything in my box. Those are all projects I would like to work on. I'm type kind of person that works on whatever I want to work on. No set rotation. Just whatever screams loudest. For the check ins we also get a fun question to answer. Today's question is How do you overcome that feeling that you’re in a rut with a particular project?

I put it down and work on something else. Most the time for me it's because another project is screaming for me to work on it. When another project starts screaming no matter how much I need/want to make progress on the one in my hand the one screaming is going to win. Sometimes I get in a total stitching rut. I put everything down and either pick up another hobby or play a game for a few days. Most the time I just need a break. There is nothing better than being in love with your stitching. It seems like your needles just FLY through the fabric.

Some people post before and after pictures of their projects. I do that for Turtle Trot on the 10th.  So I do my posts a little different. I will share with you what I've been working on since the last post. This time I'll share what I've been working on since the beginning of the year...

I joined CJC and started a new project everyday for the first 15 days. So I had 15 starts. It was a lot of fun. There is a tab on the top for all those projects if you would like to see. After those starts I worked on...

HAED Selkie for 6 Days
Blackwork Dragon for 6 Days for a finish with a total of 7 Days of work.
Mill Hill Kit Forest Frosty started and finished with 3 Days of work.
99 I worked on 1 Day.
HAED Hope I've been working on 2 Days now.
I only had 1 Day with no stitching. (Love this time of year!!)

I've showed pictures of everything other than my progress on Hope so here she is right now...
Thanks for stopping by. I look forward to seeing what you've been up to lately too.

Hope is looking fabulous, it's actually my biggest regret that when I stitched her myself that I didn't stitch her on an opal fabric...... yours just looks perfect!

Thank you very much. I love all your finished HAEDs. Hope is my first HAED that I could care about the fabric. I've always done the ones with background.
