Exchanges at PALs Retreat

One thing I really love about attending the PALs Retreat is the fun exchanges. I joined in a few. Wednesday we didn't do any exchanges since everyone is arriving and it gives us all time to just be happy to see each other. Thursday we did Fall/Halloween and Christmas. I did Halloween and Christmas. Here is what I did for the Halloween exchange...
Here is the beautiful piece I received...
Just LOVE the black fun ribbon around the outside! Here is my Christmas piece...
Here is the one I received...
Adorable teddy bear pillow. Both the Halloween and Christmas piece was from a lady who I've enjoyed getting to know Sandi. I'm so glad to have them to cherish. Friday we do the Grab Bag exchange. Oh My what fun! It's like a dirty Santa thing if you've ever heard of that. There was 65 ladies participating I heard and we get a ticket. When your number is called you can pick one off the table or steal from another person. It's so much fun. I totally forgot to take a picture of my grab bag before the exchange. Here is the one I received though...
I got an AWESOME box and a million goodies inside. It was so much fun to do. The box is ocean related so it will fit right in our decorations. There was even a pair of gingher scissors inside the box!! I was so thankful to receive this grab bag. Saturday we did Christmas Ornament and Stitched Exchange. Here is what I stitched for the Christmas Ornament...
Here is what I received...
Love the Christmas ornament I received. How delicate and beautiful. Here is what I did for the stitched exchange which is just basically a fun finish...

What talented stitchers on your retreat (you included!) I love everything but my absolute favourite is your Christmas finish with the words. Your finishing looks perfect. And wow - a pair of ginghers too! They are the only "good" scissors I own and I love mine.

Looks like a lot of fun, as usual! How long did the Grab Bag Exchange take? I remember the last one I attended... took pretty long, but it was hilarious! Thanks for sharing!

What fabulous gifts you gave and received. I love the idea of stealing someone else's bag. That must cause a lot of laughs (or tears?) :)

Lovely exchanges, I like the pumpkin biscornu you made.

I'm not sure about the stealing grab bags. It would be OK if you hadn't opened yours but if I knew what I'd got, I'd sit in it so no one could steal it LOL
