DUCJC Day 10

Another Christmas present from the PALs Retreat. This one is from Silver Creek Samplers. It was another exclusive for those attending the retreat. Here is what it will look like...
Here is where I got today...
I'm using DMC and I changed it a little bit. The suggested one for the words was so light I couldn't read the words at all. So I made it darker. I'm stitching it on a 36ct Silkweaver Molino Solo piece.

I really like so many of your starts. On this one I love the curling waves, and the seagull!

You definitely did the right thing changing the colour on another really sweet design. Another day's work and you'll probably have it finished! :)

Oh my, this is such a lovely piece. And as it is in emory of a retreat one should be able to read the words. You changed the colors wisely.

I like your color changes. The words were much too light although the designer probably wanted it to still look like sand. I like your colors better.

Love how you modified the colors, the words are easier to read and the colors are prettier.

I like the colour change you made for the letters.

Great choice and an excellent colour change. If there are going to be words, they should be seen!
