Monday Update

What a disaster! I was so excited to start the Elshire Family Crest pattern. I noticed the pattern preview image was really blurry...
Well guess what....the stitching was just as bad. It was just a blur of thrown together colors. I finished the little top box and it was so horrible. I stopped. No way was I going to continue and do something no one would want hanging in their dark closet. I was able to show my Grandpa Sunday and he said do whatever I needed to do to fix it. Luckily Tiffany helped me out and connected me with a fantastic lady who is hopefully designing a new piece that will work. It will take a few days she said. So what to do until then.

Work on another one of my million WIPs of course haha.
The Spring Bell Pull was really calling to me. I finished the P block and started the R block. Sure missed this Spring considering today is the first day of Summer haha. Now today I have to get to working on my little monthly whimsy and hope to finish it before the month flies past.

Sunday we went down to visit my Dad and family. It was a very nice visit. Great way to spend Father's Day. Now Fred has a 4 day work week. We leave Friday morning for a weekend trip with friends. We are going to northern Michigan for a fun geocaching event. Can't wait!! Hope to steal stitching time this week.

Great progress on Spring and I hope you have fun this weekend! She did a great pattern for me, the Warbreaker one and I hope she can get you a much better chart. :)

I do hope that you can get a better chart....that's such a shame that it came like that. Love your spring stitching....even though it's now officially summer !!! :)

How frustrating with the family crest design. Tiffany is such a sweetheart! I do hope the new chart works better. Your progress on your SPRING bell pull is lovely!

Sorry to hear about your disaster, you should ask for a refund. I am glad that Tiffany was able to help though. A personal recommendation is always good.
Looks like you had a great holiday with the dolphins and the geocaching too.

How good for you that you could find someone who draws the family crest pattern for you in a good quality.
Great progress on your Spring project. These banners are so beautiful. I found the summer one in a Stoney Creek magazine and will stitch it. So nice.
Have a great weekend vacation!

I sure hope that you can get a refund, since that chart is totally useless! You should give out the name EVERYWHERE to warn people! I hope you can get it redone suitably! Loving the Spring Bellpull! Hugs!
