July Gifted Gorgeousness/Monday Update/Cabin Update

Sunday was time for a gifted gorgeousness update. This fun blog SAL is hosted by the wonderful Jo. The idea for this fun SAL is to post things we are either stitching for others or things we have received from others. Stop over to this post to see what everyone has been sharing this time.

My readers know my stitching time has been few and far between. I did get to pull out a Christmas gift that I received in 2016 for Christmas since the last check in...

My mom got this beautiful chart for me. It fits our home decor perfect. It was wonderful to work on it again. It will be back out soon hopefully. Just need to get July done...

Over the 4th of July during our long holiday stay at the cabin I started the Durene Jones July piece. Last week I got 3 more days of work into it. Here it is now...
This past weekend we were back to the cabin of course. We started working on the roof for the porch...

We have a little more details to do and then we can add the metal to the top. Hopefully this coming weekend. It was a LOT of work but it will be so worth it to sit out there in the shade or out of the rain and stitch soon. Every little bit just makes it better and better. Our happy place indeed! 4 more sleepies till we can get back down there. Can't wait! Is it Friday yet??

Hope everyone reading this has a great week. I heard the heat might finally stop here in Indiana. Boy we need it. Our poor yard crunches when we walk on it.

Wow, your porch is almost as big as the cabin! It's really coming along.

I see you having lots of fun on your porch when it's done, how exciting! I love how the front of the cabin looks, great colour blue.

That's definitely what I call a porch! Now for those cool evenings when you can stitch watching the sun go down. You have the best of both worlds coming your way very soon. :)

That is going to be a great porch! Thankfully you guys are able to do the work yourselves so you can make it just what you want it to be. July is looking good.

What a porch! Our grass is crunching too. I'm glad for the break in mowing but now it just looks sad haha.

Thanks for taking part in GG this month with your lovely Summery design.
The porch is amazing! Our grass isn't crunching but that's because it's like a hayfield out there! It is full of butterflies which is nice.
