May 19th Monday Update

So last week I did a Flosstube every day. Wow what a ton of work haha. It was a daily WIP parade though after my normal Monday post and it was a lot of fun. Just soooo much work. It's done now. I just feel so far behind on everything. Like email but I finally caught up. Next up to catch up is blog reading....Oh I wish I was caught up. I miss your lovely stitching. LOL After last week I miss my own stitching. I did stitch some just not near as much as normal. So let's see what progress I made...

Monday was a no stitch day.

Tuesday was my birthday and I had a lovely nice lazy stitching day. 2 zoom group meetings. 1 I had attended before and I really enjoy. 1 was new and I very much enjoyed getting to know some new people. I worked on Noel Gnomes by Jardin Prive. I added 571...

Love working on these adorable gnomes! I'm also doing a #gnomealong with a few ladies on Flosstube.

Wednesday was an adulting day and no stitching was done again.

Thursday I added two weeks to Peppermint Purple SAL...

So up to date with weeks 1 through 20.

Friday I had a new start for #mentalhealthcaresal for May. This one is To Feel Rich and I love the message behind it...

The fabric is 32ct Spellbound Linen from Needle Bling Designs and the thread is GAST Dragon Fruit. I love the combination. I got the pattern from my stitching store on the clearance table. Got the fabric for a great price at a retreat. When I think of the message it's definitely good for mental health to leave the items behind and cherish the memories. Money doesn't buy happiness I've learned that for sure. Of course you need it for everything haha.

Saturday I worked on the Extraordinary Birds SAL by Lola Crow. I'm not caught up but added 730 more at least...

We got a Spoonbill and a Bird of Paradise plant to stitch this time. Plus the puddle fill in for the bottom. Slowly but surely I hope to catch up.

Sunday I pulled out Yggdrasil for #wipintoshape which is a fun challenge where we stitch 10 stitches for every mile Andrew trains for his race coming up. I only got 97 added because we had several people stop by and we got some projects done here at the campground.

Also I was forced *cough cough* well I was lucky enough to be told about a Long Dog pattern that I didn't know I needed...

This one is Ragnarok and contains so much from the history / stories that Jeremiah loves. So I finally have my first Long Dog and I can't wait to get started on it. I need to find the fabric and thread for it. So stay tuned. Okay I have to go. Hugs. Love yourself. Smile as often as possible. Good luck stitching all the things.

Belated happy birthday. Its so easy to get distracted by various social media platforms , one tends to loose focus . The mental health saying is so true.

Peppermint Purple looks great, must be the color :) A friend of mine stitches mostly Long Dog charts exclusively and they look great. Good luck with yours.

I'm so far behind in blog reading too, but have tried to watch as many of your floss tubes as I'm able too (it's been a bit busy on my end these days). I just haven't had time to comment on all that I have seen. I do love Yggdrasil (woohoo) and look forward to seeing your progress on your first Long Dog! Your bird sampler SAL is GORGEOUS!! I'm so tempted but so far have been able to resist. Happy Stitching (Hi to Jeremiah)
