May IHSW and TUSAL

Well even with the busy busy weekend we had I still got a lot done. It was May IHSW and yesterday was TUSAL.

Here is my TUSAL picture. This time around my Pirate Frog decided to jump in the picture. My adorable house jar is really filling up with beautiful assortment of threads. The pile in front is since the last TUSAL update.

This weekend was also IHSW and I decided to concentrate on a new piece. I started Tribal Crab by White Willow Stitching. I got about half of the crab done. I simply LOVE how the blue is turning out. This blue is called Peacock from Sampler Threads. I hope the other IHSWers had a great weekend and got a lot of stitching done.

Saturday we put in our garden for the year. We LOVE tomatoes so we planted 16 total tomato plants. We also planted 4 cucumber plants. Now I'm ready to eat tomatoes haha. So they need to hurry and grow!

OMG, 16 tomato plants? LOL, you will have tomatoes coming out your ears!!

Last year, I planted 3 and had wayyy more than I could eat and giveaway. So, this year, I planted 2. LOL I also planted red & yellow sweet peppers (chicken fajitas!), cucumbers, squash and watermelon.

The crab is looking gorgeous and a tomato and cucumber salad sounds great. You'll have to share.

It's too hot here already for tomatoes, we always container plant ours though. Still love your choice of blue for the crab, he looks very ocean-y!

That crab is fantastic, I love that color. You had quite the busy weekend - I need to get my garden in. It's almost at that point where it is too late, but I'm going to remain optimistic. I have to figure a critter deterrent system (fence, fence, and more fence). I actually got some stitching done as well.

Hiya Katie. For some reason, I'm not following your blog. I have NO idea why. Maybe because blogger was such a jerk about adding people for a while. I will be now though. I love fresh tomatoes too, but I don't have any room to grow them. My brother is though, so I'm sure I'll have some! And you got a lot done for IHSW too. I did a lot of stitching as well. Love that color. It's beautiful. And your crab looks great!!
