Started for CJC Jan 14, 2015. Took 7 Days.
Another CJC start finished. That makes 6 of the 15 now. I should have known better to pick so many large projects haha. I'm already throwing around ideas for the 2016 CJC and I'm even considering doing 31 instead of 15 since I'm totally insane. I just keep thinking about how much fun I had starting the new 15. We'll see though. There is still time to reconsider.

Since I have this finished I'm allowing myself to start something new (like I need another project on the go haha). I said something in my last post about being nervous to stitch on 40ct. I'm going to do just that. Here is the project...
It's called Always Thankful from Erica Michaels. I've had it in my stash forever since I have no idea where it came from. I was just nervous to start. After hearing advice from the designer and several ladies at PALs I can't wait to try it. So cross your fingers (or your stitches) for me please. I bought two more 40ct patterns so hopefully I don't hate it haha.

  1. Nice finish!

It's 40 count over two, right? I actually love stitching on high count linen. I too was very nervous to start, but now I do all my samplers (though I'm currently on a sampler break) on 36 or 40 count.

  2. Great finish! Good luck with your new project, I don't think I could manage 40 count!

  3. Congratulations on your finish... another one I am totally jealous of you stitching! It looks absolutely fab and is just in time for Halloween!
I agree with Becca about your sampler - you are going to stitch over 2 aren't you? Otherwise I would consider you utterly insane. Even so, 40 over 2 is still more than I would ever consider so very good luck to you! :)

  4. I love your new finish - just in time too! Gorgeous colours in this fun design.
I really hope you are stitching over 2! I stitched over 1 on 36 count once and never again! It looked great but was very time-consuming.
It will be fun to see how you get on with it!

  5. Congrats on your finish! And good luck with the 40ct. They are beautiful projects.

  6. Congrats on the finish I love it! I'm sure you'll do just fine stitching on the 40 count I'm excited to see how you like it.

  7. Spooktacular finish & in time too!! Love the colours & the little details on this design.
Good luck with the new start! The chart is lovely but the 40ct is scary! I'm sure you'll do a lovely job as always!

  8. Great finish! I have Always Thankful in my drawer, waiting to be made into something... I stitched it on either 36 or 40 count fabric... was not up to trying the gauze! I want to so something really special with it!! Love it lots! Look forward to your report! Hugs!

  9. Beautiful finish, love the colors. Ooh, 40ct..and here I am basking on a 16ct aida, haha. This will be fun to see grow, the design is lovely:)

  10. The Witch's Hat is great, such a fun project.
I enjoy 40 count fabric, Book of Spells is on a 40 as was Trick and Treat.
